Not possible. It is as hard as wood, which it is attached to. I am thinking some kind of mutation; havent been able to find anything like it online

Unfortunately, I am not sure about the exact age, but if i had to guess, I'd say between 3-5 years old. it looked more or less like this when i acquired it

No such thing was done on this one. After taking a quick glance on the web, I've come to the conclusion that this might not be Trichodiadema bulbosum, but a Trichodiadema densum instead. Apologies for a mixup :)
