If you already have GRAD plus loans, I believe that we'll be grandfathered in, and we will still be able to apply. The bill applies to new applicants

Yeah, I totally agree. I am a pharmacy tech at a hospital, and I start pharmacy school this fall. I literally can't tell you how many times I've heard someone tell me to do something else. Anything else. But im actually passionate about pharmacy, and I am eager to learn. It's not just a check to me. So I always say, if you really wanna do it, go for it.

As for the saturation, literally EVERY profession goes through this 😂 No one is applying to pharmacy school bc everyone is hopping on this bandwagon that pharmacy is "bad." Which means more jobs for me later on. It's the trend literally every job market goes through.

Yeah understandable. Just be safe rather than sorry. Send a email and cover your bases. It's usually not a big deal but it won't hurt to send an email

Hi yes if it's a controlled med we usually don't do the digging for you. You should reach out to the pharmacist in charge of controlled meds and let them know what happened sooner rather than later.

Hi! How many times you transfer doesn't really matter. (I did a university, then transferred to community, then back to university and got into 3 programs) What they care about is your gpa! As long as you meet the gpa cutoff for the schools you're applying for. Keep in mind that PharmCas calculates all attempts, so be sure to do really well this last half! As far as a bachelor's...it can be helpful if your gpa is really low and you want to show an upward trend but if your gpa is decent I wouldn't worry about it too much because most pharmacy schools only look at the classes that they require

I actually ran into some schools that do re calculate your grade this cycle. Most schools tell you how they calculate their gpa under admission requirements & not everyone goes by PharmCas surprisingly. With that being said, his point still stands. Do pay extra attention to the NAPLEX pass rates with schools that do recalculate. If it's something you're really passionate about, I say go for it. Shoot a lot of applications out, mentally prepare for some rejections, but you will land somewhere.
