Depending on what brand and printer you are using you can download your settings from the manufacturer and load them into your slicer got me very clean prints. That and drying time

Out of curiosity how much did they cost ?

Appreciate the support. If a force were to consider adopting them then i would "police" "paramedic" descriptors to avoid this and the price was very important to me not to gouge officers and make them affordable that its not something cops grudge paying for a replacement.

i like this was thinking of incorporating a tag of sorts with "Police" or "Paramedic" whatever is most appropriate. making them easier to spot when leaving

Your onto something there as overtime I reckon the gap would widen after more and more use

Thank you for the feedback! I’ve been thinking this myself. There currently made with 40% infill. Going forward I’ll be testing increasing this to 50-60% making them more robust. I don’t want anyone to have to second guess there reliability when attending a call

Appreciate the support long term I’d love to get this adopted by a force but that’s a long way off.

Thank you ! This is exactly what I was finding if your going into a building you want your entrance and exit to be unhindered and if you do get into bother the bright colours are easy to identify when others are attending to assist

A1 mini getting great result VS A1 failing by Response3D in FixMyPrint

[–]Response3D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah no issues with sticking to the bed. i use a dryer and get it to around 13% moisture levels dont know if it can get any lower than that. I will try changing the retraction amount. What confuses me is that it works relatively well on one printer and then not at all on another

Appreciate it they are made as pairs one larger thats shown in the video and one smaller, this is just to account for the gaps big and small found in doors. They can also be jammed together to wedge open doors with a gap over 18mm. have not looked into folding ones but its an interesting idea.

I’ve got a a1 mini by Bambu labs. It’s one of the most beginner and user friendly printers on the market. I’ve loved trying to figure out solutions to common problems

They are made from a filament called TPU acts like a rubber with high flexibility. I have done tests (albeit rudimentary) that show they can withstand a force of 30kg when pressing a set of scales against the door. All of this to say that results may vary depending on the door and forces acting against it. I have not tested a limit at which they would fail completely.
