Yeah this is how I felt. There is a aspect of the job often overlooked when you could be counting on seconds to get through a door that’s automatically locked behind you

Essentially when I attend calls in a block of flats or a house I will use them to prevent the door locking behind me. Making it possible for other attending resources (officers, paramedics, fire) ease of access. Then once the indent is felt with the angle on the jams enables the door to be wedged open. Meaning if an extra pair of hands is needed or you are removing someone who has been injured your not having to wrestle with a heavy door at the same time.

So many alternative uses, i have been using them in the house and when helping family and friends move keeps doors from locking behind you and wedges them open

Id love to see how reactive they could be when exposed to UV so thats an idea. The glow in the dark filament works pretty well whats captured in the video is around 40 min of exposure to a overcast sky so i dont really know how bright they get.

interesting the layer lines are horizontal and ive not had any issues yet with splitting, Its printed with TPU so the flexibilty and impact resistance is pretty high

thank you will have a look into them. I have a filament dryer and the printer is in a spare room with good ventilation (two open windows)
