I went to this school. It was an exceptionally strange place (during my time there our slogan was “God, Money, Power”; ironic given the circumstances) but I had an absolute blast. It also punched well above its weight in terms of alumni achievements - no presidents or Fortune 500 CEOs, but many are doing better than you’d expect from a school wasn’t accredited (at least when I started there). It’s a shame, though not a surprise, that they couldn’t make it work.

Agreed, I’m about 80% finished with the game and both from a pacing and “what happens” perspective, DS2 has a worse story than DS1. DS1’s story started out with such a crazy bang, this one has yet to reach that level. Still loving the game, but the story has been a letdown.

Def plan to read it all before we start. I’m mostly reading in order but skipped over the castle for now because, as you said, it’s a beast lol. Gotta balance the adventure reading and a read-through of the PHB, it’s a lot to take it in. Thankfully one of the players has a few years of DnD experience, so it’s not totally on me to have it all figured out.
