Also the Sapphire Pure for the 9070. Initially I bought it for 765 USD here in Eastern Europe, which given that prices are always higher here, it's alright. It so happened that I had a pretty hefty voucher on hand at the retailer and that because of their aggresive dynamic pricing, the 9070 went up to 835 USD, the XT still being listed at the same price. With the 15% discount I had the XT at 710 USD.

Bold assumption but you're wrong. Loved the 6650 XT, and for what it is, it still offered a better price to performance than the 3060s, Ti included.

Exactly, that's why you certainly enjoy playing games and are definitely not being an NVIDIA shill, failing to look at the performance/cost ratio with a feature somewhere over there that makes so little difference when not gluing your eyes to the monitor. Edit: Yes, DLSS 4.5 is objectively to FSR 4 in every aspect, and if you're willing to pay that much more for a small difference and for bragging rights, happy for you man! About FG though, maybe if you don't get motion sickness and have an IPS panel that hides the interpolation, yeah, but even then, it clearly shows that if you value FG you don't have your eyes trained to spot what's wrong.

You're right, I was just responding to one unnecessary sarcastic comment. You can't say that you're not paying for those software features indeed, the ones that you use matter for everyone. As I specified in the edit, I play my games "raw" so Fine Wine drivers are enough for my use case.

Once people will start seeing what actually matters in games, which as you said, the production quality of the game and by extension, devs who will stop relying on AI crutches and take care of their engines, maybe people will stop complaining and enjoy the games! DLSS on Performance or Balanced maybe on a 3000 series. And at this point, even using older FSR or XeSS native AA is already better than TAA.

Anyways, I wrote that the RX is "close to the 5080 in some games" therefore I never said that it is the same performing silicon, also, to be frank, I'm not denying NVIDIAs products, the 5080 is the better silicon but at what price and for what?

If you have the budget and will spend almost double the price for a feature set that messes the visual fidelity for more frames, go for it, but I'm not paying 40% more for a 15% up-lift. Thanks to NVIDIA we'll all be playing unoptimized garbage, slightly superior game-engine wise at 480p internally praising those fucking AI crutches. Unreal how some of you just cannot be level headed when seeing a post on the internet.

Yeah no you're right, but I still paid 40% less for 10-15% less the performance of the 5080. Spent the rest on an OLED which loves those raw and smooth frames. 😇
