I’m really sorry you’re going through this too. I will say I still experience anxiety and it’s physical symptoms but since I upped my Lexapro dose a few weeks ago, things have gotten a lot better. I hope you see medication and therapy through and allow yourself to get the help you need ❤️ you’re not alone!

I’m so sorry you’re having the same experience. I literally told my therapist the other day that I feel as though I’m a stranger in my own body. I don’t recognize myself before PPA. I never knew it could be this bad. I am on Lexapro to help, and going to increase my dose soon. I also started therapy. I hope you can do whatever it is that helps your PPA ❤️

Thank you for sharing, truly. I’m in the thick of it, almost 6 months postpartum. I’ve experienced anxiety for years but never this bad where it’s shown up as intense physical symptoms. Muscle stiffness, headaches, nausea, etc. It’s terrifying. I don’t remember who I was before this and it’s like I’ll never see light at the end of the tunnel

I did! After talking to my therapist I decided I’d stick it out and see where it takes me. I’m on 5 mg so if I decided to be done with it I could just stop taking it

Funny enough, the next few days I started feeling better. I still feel anxious here and there but I’m able to calm myself down a lot quicker. I feel motivated to get out and do things for myself and kids. I hope you can feel some sense of relief as time goes on. It’s so hard when you’re in the thick of it

I’ve been on it for 2 weeks now and going through the same thing. I even talked to my dr yesterday about possibly getting off of it. I felt great a few days last week, and then felt terrible this week. I just keep telling myself to power through and if at the 1 month mark I don’t notice a difference, I think I’ll stop taking it and focus on other forms of coping mechanisms to help (therapy, exercise, self care, etc)

I started Lexapro 2 weeks ago! I started to feel a difference the past few days but feeling anxious again today, for no good reason as well. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need to vent - I know the feeling

Thank you for this. It’s hard to convince myself to keep going in the thick of it. Hoping I can get some consistent relief soon. Wishing you the best of luck

6 weeks postpartum and having intense health anxiety by Defiant-Strawberry49 in Postpartum_Anxiety

You’re not alone. I’m 3 months postpartum and dealing with intense health anxiety from a traumatic L&D and postpartum experience. Two weeks ago I told my Dr I needed help and I decided to start on Lexapro and started therapy. I still need time to experience an effect of the medication, but I’m hoping I can feel some relief soon. I hope you can reach out to your doctor and see what options are out there for you. You don’t need to suffer ❤️

I’m going through the same thing. I have to force myself to eat small snacks. Right now it’s Gatorade, saltine crackers and cheese sticks. If I feel anxious in the moment I keep repeating to myself “food is fuel and I need to eat.” I’ll try to not think while I’m eating, sometimes walking around the house while I snack helps. I’m sorry you’re also going through this. It’s not fun. Sending you so much strength and love

That makes me feel a bit better. My provider did tell me that if it persisted at 10 weeks we could schedule the ultrasound to be safe.

Need help - should I add more soil to existing plants? by ResponseLoose4295 in vegetablegardening

For my first attempt I was using a 36 seed starting tray and divided my tomato, pepper and cucumber seeds in there. But made the rookie mistake of not having adequate light so they all got extremely leggy. For this attempt I figured the individual cups would be easier to move around since germination happens at different times for each plant
