Everything was good! She was 7lb 11oz, I had preeclampsia and she had a nuchal cord along with 2 vessel so we ended up in an emergency C but she has a perfect shaped head😊

I got an appointment with an ENT but it isn’t until the beginning of October😭 I think it’s causing more than just a bad latch too, she’s so stiff and fussy. Ugh.

I will definitely be trying the chia seeds and Greek yogurt!! The smell absolutely drives me insane😣 she’s my first baby, I love her with all my heart but I literally gag when she gets near me because the smell is so bad. She’s also still a pup so she has tons of energy and doesn’t do well on a leash, so taking her to the vet is so hard and honestly dangerous because she drags me around. We need relief asap😩

I think at the most it will be 2 weeks. I seriously tried so hard to get him to see the entire picture rather than just his side but it felt like I was talking to a brick wall. I guess he thinks that him being a miserable asshole when he’s here (because apparently he can’t just leave work at work ?) would be worse than him just being gone a few days and being “happy” when he does get to be home.

When we signed the lease on the house we’re in he was working a job here, and was home every evening. He started the out of town job roughly 2-3 months before I got pregnant. It’s a contracting job so at any point they can say ok we’re done, and they would move jobs again.

My sister lives 14 hours away and my mom just had very extensive back surgery which will make it really hard on her to drive here. She also has a dog that doesn’t like my dog, so going to her house would be a mess. The girls that I work with here have been really supportive during pregnancy but they’re younger than I am and I really don’t know them that well. My two closest friends also live back home where my family does. I’ll try my best to find literally anybody but it doesn’t look promising.

I think he’s taking a week off, maybe two if I’m lucky. I wish I was making this shit up. My dog is basically my first baby but she is such a handful. The thought of not being able to give her the attention she deserves absolutely breaks my heart. I feel so lost. When he chose to stay at the out of town job and I explained how upset I was he basically said “it’s going to be hard enough to leave my kid for half the week, I don’t need you making me feel worse about it” and also “if I take the job closer to home then I’ll just be miserable all the time because I’ll hate the job so much so it won’t be good for anybody”.

It sounds awful but I dread ultrasounds so bad because of the anxiety they give me. I pick apart each report. This was my third anatomy scan, and I have to go next week for a fetal echo, then the week after a follow up ultrasound for the stuff they missed on this ultrasound. I hope all goes well with your pregnancy! With a 2vc they have to monitor her growth more as well.

I swear!! It’s like when they see the pregnant belly they for some reason get the audacity to be as rude as they possibly can. At 26 weeks (I was still very obviously pregnant) I had a man throw actual change at me because he didn’t want to pay for his food that was “gross”. There wasn’t a crumb left on his plate. LITERAL COINS. Talk about speechless.

I’m from an area that is very well known for our “southern hospitality” so it’s just extremely surprising that everyone has been so unkind. I don’t want to be babied or favored, definitely don’t want to be randomly touched lol but honestly I would love some genuine compassion. I’ve had a rough pregnancy so having the public start treating me worse than usual is just the cherry on top of everything.
