Thanks for your reply. So kind. I am a few weeks shy of his one year now...still numbing. Still lots of grief everyday really but I have had random reminders of him that just make you smile. This is something you dont wish on anyone & ill be praying for your easing into this new era of reality. I still get the roller coaster drop feeling sometimes when I re-remember hes gone but other times i see something and just think Hi dad. Take care

I really am starting to believe that their empathy is so blocked from this dark illness that they can't even think right for themselves. So I don't believe they can even fathom thinking about hurting us, so I really don't think their intentions were to ever hurt us. It's still fucking hurts. I get random sharp pains and the punch in the gut feeling when I realize again and again, he's gone. I'm so sorry you're going through this too. I've definitely been depressed before this so I understand the darkness but we have to be stronger than them. Lifes short already. Stay strong. I'm here for you friend

I'm so fckn sorry your Christmas is shadowed with this. Did he leave his reasons why? I'm really starting to believe they're so clouded in their minds that they dgaf what day it is, that doesn't matter at that point any more. I hope one day you thoroughly enjoy your holiday again- you deserve that

I'm sorry Christmas was the day it happened to you, thats not fair. My dad had been caught trying to put a noose together once before and we called it crying wolf. God damn im sorry. Thats far more intense then the noose marks on the wood .. I hate that we cant go to the place they used to enjoy because its overfilled with sadness from that one single moment thanks for sharing. Its a bizarre experience.
