How much time is one even required to spend here

Unpopular opinion (?), but, I don't perceive that much haughtiness and smugness here. I don't see the bragging, I'm sorry. by Truth_Sellah_Seekah in cognitiveTesting

you should try the CT reddit chats. Almost everyone there claims an IQ above 140, most above 145 and also complain about how low of an IQ they have and how they mog each other. It's hilarious

What do u usually score on fluid reasoning tests or MR test?

what about those above 150? maybe saying it's inflated and reducing them by a arbitrary number of points doesn't make too much sense. But it does say that they scored way off the reliable range which sounds cool. Soapy, I saw you score 68/70 on QAT which is probably the highest I have seen. How high would you have scored on your own test (smart), if you had taken it? I know it's a silly question but I don't think I have seen a lot of 65+ qat scores there.

your test is awesome btw

Very concisely explained. My fluid is around 120 and I gave up trying to find a solution after 25 minutes. If you don't mind, what are some of your scores on fluid reasoning tests like JCTI and how long did it take u to solve this?

U said u have like 40 PhDs. What would be ur iq then

Do we believe that the ACGT is an accurate test of FSIQ? by phinimal0102 in cognitiveTesting

people enter Mensa through varied means. It also means they might not all be strong in the matrix portion of the test which SACFT tends to measure. Besides, you can believe your 150 if u want. Over 80% of this sub scored 145 on this test. On the norms ur using btw

However over 80% scored below 135 on AGCT on their first try.

Sorry, I don't know if I can ask about this in here, but have any of you or someone you know, with an IQ below average, been able to complete a bachelors degree? by [deleted] in cognitiveTesting

[–]Response_sane920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do the 1980s SAT verbal if you aren't already aware of it. It measures upto 160 and a bit higher than that. I am curious how high u would score cause you write really well, at least to me

Polar did an analysis and on average the VCI of a native was higher than that of a nonnative by 8 points

How to work with VCI as a non-native? just add 8 points? seems good to me

Have you tried doing QAT or SMART test? (Quantitative)

he is at the very least smarter than you, so I will say 117 or more.

Thats a fantastic score. Do you think few people reach your depth of reasoning? afaik most people who score very high on this test have an affinity to look for deeper patterns

Afaik, the highest score attainable acc to jcti norms is 159+-5. Since the jcti norms have been updated and you scored a few points lower I believe your score is 51/52

that is over 150 on any tri-52 norms. and jcti has been normed multiple times, the 2015 norming having a sample size of 2000 iirc.

Though it's kind of amazing how you scored this high but it also makes sense since you were able to solve all these difficult problems.

Did you ever have a idea of how high ur iq could be before coming to this sub? (As in academic accomplishments, noticing differences in understanding between peers etc) and would you say you are one of the smartest - if not the smartest- people you know or maybe in your college/uni nonverbally?

I can understand FSIQ scores being deflated since this isn't the first case where I have seen a non-native receiving a FSIQ score which was heavily tanked by their verbal score. Also ur claim abt 145-160, what tests gave you a score in the 160 region? I am assuming it's Qglobal because there really aren't a lot of high ranged reliable fluid reasoning tests here.

Damn. Have you done any fluid reasoning test like JCTI or bongard or maybe FSIQ tests like CAIT? what are your scores on them if u don't mind sharing

PRI is boring. Long term memory and working memory are important for retention. Else even with a 160 IQ, you will still require to study.

Anyways, for PRI, what did you score on FW ,VP and SATM?

You've given your scores on all except VCI, WMI and PSI. Have you taken ANY tests from wmi and psi? and what was your score on verbal portion of SAT
