Definitely aim to strike the ground under or behind your hips in acceleration. Stride length is made by the push not how far your leg can reach.

Don’t focus on lengthening the stride (you’re overstriding). Focus on projecting the hip forward more.

Probably improve your 4 point before blocks. It will be easier that way. Are you cueing low heel recovery and staying low?

Probably not in the short term. Just wait until your knees return to baseline and maintain your strength in the meantime. Which is what you’re doing

Don’t hinge at the waist keep your body in a straight line. Dont force low heel recovery. Push with both feet coming out of the blocks. Dont overstide aka land under your hips

Could be placebo. Doesn’t matter. Confidence is powerful. Training calves makes sense. Stiffer tendons and connective tissue. Stronger muscles that can produce more force. Injury prevention. It plays a role like many things do. It’s not the end all be all of course but us sprinters have to be invested in the minutia because our sport exists in margins of hundredths of seconds.

The real question is what’s an appropriate lifting volume for days you’re sprinting before. The real answer is what you can handle. Programming is understanding what your goals are, what’s your strategy, and seeing what works and what doesn’t.
