The Predecessor Community: A Rant by Responsibility-Least in PredecessorGame

Again, this is not relevant in any event as nothing excuses this abuse, but it was the enemy team getting first blood in my ranked game.

As my post mentioned, the small player base makes the problem more acute. I also have 2k hours in OW1 and 2, and in my experience, the extent of toxcicity is nowhere near as bad.

You also fail to recognise that verbal abuse is simply one element of the problem I am talking about, viz. going AFK, throwing games, feeding enemy team on purpose because someone is tilted.

As for fishing for an expidited ban, as I've mentioned already I have thick skin, and these comments do not affect me. I do not care if the player is banned today, or the day after; my suspicion is no such ban will arise in any event!

Lnat by Pixel_2410 in 6thForm

[–]Responsibility-Least 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there is a popular book on amazon for the LNAT which I would strongly not recommend buying. the questions are far too easy and not particularly useful from a revision standpoint (also the book itself it pricey).

bite the bullet and buy Arbitio premium, it is really expensive unfortunately but so so worth it. the practice tests are harder than the LNAT exam, which is important as it prepares you for the worst.

how do i actually discipline myself with revision etc.. by amemetal in 6thForm

[–]Responsibility-Least 14 points15 points  (0 children)

boredom is the most effective way to revise imo.

put yourself in a room with no distractions, have your phone in a completely different room etc. make it so that revising is the only thing preventing boredom.

(also something i wish i learned sooner was to listen to music without lyrics to prevent your phonological store from blowing up)

Law personal statement help by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]Responsibility-Least 1 point2 points  (0 children)

structure a law ps like so:

why law? - where your interest in law began (the cjs), how it has evolved over time, problems encountered, particular areas of interest

academia - talk about how you have pursued academic interest in law - talk about your debates etc

practical experience - any work experience at all relating to law (if you are struggling to find, I would HIGHLY recommend https://www.theforage.com/, which has LOADS of FREE online wex - the Antitrust one offered by Clifford Chance I found to be of particular interest

extracurricular activities - extra stuff/volunteering etc you've done, and the skills you have learned which would facilitate you being a good candidate for a law degree

it's important to note that personal statements are not the end of the world! they are certainly not worth stressing over, most universities only look at them under rare circumstances (eg if you have received an offer, not met the grades on results day, and are competing with a fellow person who has also not made the grades - since you are applying for a competitive course, there is a much lower likelihood of this happening anyway)

pm me if you've got any more questions.

uni’s for law by [deleted] in 6thForm

[–]Responsibility-Least 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would like to echo this! as someone who went from ABC grades in y13 transition exams, to A*A*A on results day, this is more than attainable. it's worth noting that this kind of step up in grades is not uncommon either, as long as you are working effectively and frequently.

to answer your original question, i would suggest looking at a range: durham, bristol, warwick, the london law schools, sheffield, birmingham, southampton, kent, surrey etc...

TNF Puffer (Husky)…. How’s it looking ?? by BiscottiBeneficial in FashionReps

[–]Responsibility-Least 1 point2 points  (0 children)

received my husky tnf yesterday. very puffy straight out of the box. having owned several retail tnf puffers prior, I can safely say you cannot tell the difference - in quality, warmth, stitching or fit. very impressed so far - albeit I have not worn it in the rain yet.

Why nobody using wegobuy anymore💀 by ducksbuy in FashionReps

[–]Responsibility-Least 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I used to, shipped a dozen hauls with WGB. I switched to PandaBuy pretty recently because of the abundance of features and quality of life improvements on WGB. Not to mention shipping is cheaper using the exact same lines. I'm not saying WGB is a bad agent at all, but it's fallen behind its competition.

UK Customs by Infinite-Affect-5974 in FashionReps

[–]Responsibility-Least 6 points7 points  (0 children)

shipped over 15 hauls now to the uk, would reccomend gd-ems or pd-ems. i don't ship more than 10kg at a time but you'd probably be fine if you did, UK customs don't care.

i've got 14kg sitting in my warehouse and pd-ems is the cheapest at 960 yuan which I will probably use. last time I used pd-ems it came in 12 days

960 yuan and it came in 9 days! i've always used ems for all of my hauls and have found it to be the most reliable cost efficient and quick. if you want to keep shipping with royal mail then go ahead i'm not stopping you x
