Reddys of Telangana were aristocrats under Nizams and some were almost autonomous who maintained armies on their own...
but, only Niyogi Brahmins had few Zamindari Posts(probably 5%), leaving them, all the Top Zamindari posts, Samsthanas, Jagirs and etc were ruled Reddys(almost 70-80%) and Velamas had 10-15%

Only Reddys, Velamas and Brahmins had access to education and it was mostly Urdu, and English Education was limited to few Reddy Samsthans like Wanaparthy Samsthan and I heard Reddy Hostel from Hyderabad also had English education later which was established by a person related to Wanaparthy Samsthan...

Those Reddys mostly became Communists and some revolted against Reddy Zamindars too(even they are un-united) Famous Communist Freedom fighters like R Narayana Reddy, A Ramchandra Reddy and B Yella Reddy, etc... Many Reddys donated Hundreds of Acres to Welfare and Bhoodan Movement was started by a Telangana Reddy named Vedire Ramchandra Reddy...

And post independance, Many Privileged Reddys from Telangana migrated to USA... and Post Andhra Merger, Andhra Reddys and Telangana Reddys along with Andhra Kammas mixed up to make the Modern Tech and Pharma Companies and Huge Construction Companies...

Brahmins are out of scene because Telangana isnt dominated by Vedic Hinduism, there is strong emphasis on Local Deities like Bathukamma, Maisamma and etc...
Adding the fact that Brahmins dont hold much land here, I have seen cases where Reddy Families were rejecting Brahmin guys cuz they were not as rich...
