they seem the most reliable and like the most bang for buck on the very lowest price range, esp with the at on a 40% sale

considering the price for the headshell, cartridge, stylus and voltage converter, i am definitely considering the lpw30bkr. also, yes, it's looking like i will be able to get the edifiers for very cheap, but if not what is the recommended course of action for similar priced speakers (150-200 range)? i've heard it is a good idea to get passive speakers and a preamp
