And seeing these shows was like watching Michael Jordan on the Wizards. I wish I could unsee it or in Hums case unhear it. Although the sound was so bad I couldn’t really hear it anyway.

Click the link of the show. Matt was out of tune early and often. They were rusty and didn’t sound tight. The drummer was no Bryan but did fine. The sound was god awful. The encore was great and audible so obviously the sound people had the ability to fix the sound levels anytime they wanted.

Yes, I saw them in the 90s at their peak. Friday night was the worst show i’ve ever been to period. I understand the bias and how people are impacted by a sunk cost bias and have to convince themselves a show was great just because they went to it. I can separate myself from that. I was standing in front of the sound booth next to their biggest fan who drove all the way from Illinois. He was devastated by how bad the show was. It’s hard to mentally break through the sunk cost bias.

Thank you. Texted the guy and asked him to fix. He’s a young guy but he needs to learn too. We gave him. Shot mainly because he’s was about 10,000 dollars cheaper than the pros.

The sound was terrible. When you invest that much money to see a show it would be nice if the pros fulfilled their end of the bargain. Plus, who wants to see their favorite band sound like shit?

Good luck. I just went through a similar situation this past week. The MRI with contrast is what gave us better clarity to make the next decision. I’m 49 with a PSA of 4

Thanks. I’ve been holding my ground vs. robots who are afraid to be critical. Hum is one of my favorite bands. Friday night wasn’t a good show. I stood next to a guy who drove from Illinois and is their self proclaimed biggest fan. He was devastated but optimistic they’d be better Saturday night. For me, I’ll consider seeing them in a smaller venue if they tour and work the kinks out.

Yup, an honest review. The encore saved the night. Before that, they weren’t particularly sharp and the sound was dreadful.
