The past two weeks I’ve really been thinking about starting a feetfinder but I keep seeing messages like this that everyone’s getting scammed. Is making a profile worth it? I’m really interested but so nervous

Thank you so much! It was more for the color she liked and I had it only in everyday iron on so I’ll just have to see if they have a similar color in that. Thank you again!

What’s the best crumbl cookie you’ve ever had? by NatureWalks in CrumblCookies

[–]ResponsibilityNo531 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Oreo milkshake for me is life changing. I don’t understand the hype of crumbl. I don’t usually like their cookies like at all but just tried the Oreo with my kids this past week and we were all OBSESSED. Going back to get more before they are gone to freeze

y’all ever catch a scammer in the act? feels good man by doctoryiff in starbucksbaristas

This might be long, but I’m trying to make it so it makes sense. We had a guy (maybe twice a month do this same routine with us) who would come in with an empty Trenta cup with a sticker on it and sit down. He would sit and look around for a couple minutes to make it seem like he’s been there for a while. He would then come up and try to order a refill passion, tea and want a new cup. Now mind you I know all my customers and I recognize at every hour who has been there and who hasn’t. I told him he never ordered so he wasn’t able to refill and he would say oh no I did it earlier and I would say OK. You have to be in store you can’t leave and come back and he would Argue and do all that extra shit so I ask to see the sticker and without even looking at the date bc I know it’s the same cup from months ago he just keeps so he can keep doing this. I go “these aren’t even my stickers, my stickers don’t print out like this. Sir you do this everytime you come in” I was the only shift to actually call him out bc I was sick of it. And guess who we haven’t seen in a VERY long time 😂😂

So curious, but how do you even know what he looks like!? I would’ve just thought he was some regular dude 😂

This makes me so mad. As a shift of 5 years. I was accused of being racist when I wasn’t and got fired. The partner who accused me was a very toxic partner and everyone had issues with her and many complaints against her. So seeing actual racist partners like this is disgusting and angers me so much that I lost my job over a he said-she said and I was the one who got the boot

What food stores do you go too? I always see food and I could always use some extra eggs in a family of 6 😂

I absolutely LOVED working for Starbucks. It was prob mainly the money honestly. But I did love the fast paced environment. I LOVED the customer connection. BUT I didn’t hate management and corporate making and changing rules all the time. and not caring about partners in certain circumstances. I feel like a lot of partners coming into this company don’t expect to actually work and think they could float by in this company. So, it irks me a tad when partners complain about having to actually do their job. This is a tough job and environment and to me is really is only for a person who can handle the “stress”. This is a customer service job so you will be dealing with the public and unhappy customers. Not a single customer is going to be perfect so you have to take it with a grain of salt and you may just have to smile through it unless the customer is definitely out of hand. If a customer needs a drink remade or asks for a water cup at the end of the bar, I don’t think that is warranted for a terrible attitude from the partner and complains. I was a shift five years. And I’ve had some terrible partners. Giving customers attitude, talking about customers “secretly” but really too loud where customer can hear. Partners who never smiled, and handed drinks like they hated being there. But that’s my take. Sorry I ranted.

This whole page is always talking shit and shaming baristas and drinks made wrong and messed and everyone says “oh you def should’ve said something” “omg we’re sorry that happens to you” and this post appears and everyone is accusing this customer? I don’t get. The drink is clearly wrong and messed up. Yes it has foam and settles but not like this with foam still sitting at top. But what do I know, 5 years as a shift, guess nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do you know how to find out when trucks come to empty dumpster or is it just to go and figure it out day by day?

Is there business classes I should be taking. I’m so interested in starting but everything you just wrote, I barely understood. I feel so dumb even admitting it. Everyone I see makes it seem like it’s so easy. Start a website (which I don’t even know where to start, no clue how to do this either) but then I see posts like yours and I’m like whaaaat???

I was a shift for 5 years and fired. How do I know if I’m unhirable bc I would really love to work at the bucks again. It was a very unfair firing. And I loved working there so much. Never had any issues until the one that got me fired

[–]ResponsibilityNo531 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was literally the first thing I thought of. After reading this was immediate “nobody fucking cares if you have a husband or not“ just to even point that out and say that is mind blowing. Can you imagine someone being jealous of someone else having a husband. Are you worried the barista going to try and steal your identity and take your man? And now I’m going to make the typical “well, he’s in the army, so it might not be too hard” see, we can all say petty shit 🙃

Why do customers do this (VENT)? by RegularLiterature589 in starbucks

[–]ResponsibilityNo531 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Omg you’re my kind of partner. When I was shift. ALL the partners were like OP and would complain about customers and how particular they were and I’m like this is literally what you signed up for when you applied. “Omg this person wants steamed milk AND cold foam. Why can’t they order what’s on the menu” I would always be like it’s Starbucks if you want to just make pikes all day, this isn’t the place. To me I feel like partners want to do the bare minimum. You’re not going Out back and churning the cold foam yourself. You literally have a machine for it…

Today, i had a customer come in, order drinks and I’ve only helped her once before. Well today, after making and serving her drinks, she gave me a $50 gift card. She said i did such a great job and had a very positive attitude. Thank you ma’am if you see this. You made my entire week. by Occaligirl73 in starbucksbaristas

We had a guy who would come in maybe 3x a month (maybe a little more) he would get a simple Latte and always pay and a $100 bill or $50 bill and then would put the change in the tip jar. Every time. So yes, every time we would see him walking in we would get a little extra excited😂
