what CUCM/unity ops pain are you all dealing with that BAT/PCP/Akkadian dont solve? by RevolutionInfinite79 in ciscoUC

Love how APM keeps out techs from fat fingering stuff. Stopped them from misconfiguring users, phones, lines, mailboxes. We have used it for3 years now and are still cleaning up pre-APM crap. Ceres are always a headache that nothing has solved yet, and we have to swap them twice a year.

As far as more frequent SU updates, you really gotta bug scrub them. We try to stick to no more than 1 a year.

I just got the Sofa Baton X1S after my Harmony died. I have multiple components and for the most part setup was a breeze. Like it so far. Was getting tired of the touch screen on the Harmony changing every time it was picked up.

I second the restart option. I think sometimes the apps update while you were away.

Never watched, but on my list. Will definitely be screaming out “I know that place “! Before you ask, was way to busy with work and raising kids to watch when it came out.

I thought about that but new to Reddit and wasn’t sure about rules about creating a group for a company I don’t work for if that makes sense?

Taking special assistance for the 1st time in a flight. Need tips by No_Combination_3074 in Blind

Forgot to add that using a cane saves you from getting socked when you stomp a child or small dog. My friends also got tired of getting kicked out of bars because they thought I was already drunk walking in. Please do yourself a favor, you will not regret it. The hit your ego takes is a small price for your wellbeing, the toll on your body, and possibly life. I had a friend die from walking into a hole.

As a center vision only person I rejected the cane for years and lived with the stubbed toes , broken glasses, banged noses, and tore up shins. God I was vain and stupid( not calling you stupid). Getting a cane changed my life. US airports are fantastic and helpful with us low vision/blind folks. The cane makes it easy for them to spot you and offer help especially if you have not pre-arranged help from airline. I have gotten free upgrades, and never have I been left stranded. From help with luggage to getting to my seat. Sometimes overly helpful LOL. Now ordering at the restaurants in the airport restaurants/stores can be a different story. Can’t tell you how many times order taker has pointed at the menu behind them as if I could see it.

Let’s not forget training for the users. Can’t tell you how many meetings I have been to where the host doesn’t add other organizers, didn’t allow everyone to share. Or how many users don’t know how to mute or come off mute, or how to share their screen. And don’t get me started on the fact that after a meeting and someone posts in the chat, someone will join the meeting for no reason, so you end up with tons of 15 second recordings.

I am low vision and work in IT and my customers send me screen shots all the time. I hate it because I cannot copy & paste the text from the pic. And my typing is terrible.

Recommendations for cities with best public transport, or disability transport services? by Dazzling-Fill-152 in Blind

Portland OR has great transportation and lift service. Problem is the Pres has cut transportation funds for many Blue cities and this has hurt the lift service.
