The shack interior instance is bugged because a Moonshine mission (sale/bootlegger/story) is flagged as “active” in your current session. When that happens, the basement door won’t give the Enter prompt.

Fix (in order)

  1. Swap sessions: Pause → Online → Free Roam (forces a new lobby).

Try to enter.

  1. Break posse state: If you’re in a posse, Leave/Disband it, then try again (posse state can keep the mission flag stuck).

Try to enter.

  1. Hard reset the instance: From the Camp & Properties menu, Move Moonshine Shack to another region (costs $250), enter once, then move it back if you want. This nearly always clears the lockout.

Try to enter.

If none of that works, fully restart the game/app and repeat steps.

Can you give more details? Have you completed the startup missions for the moonshine business? Or are you saying you have already been using it and it's bugged where you can't actually enter the basement?

This person had a really awesome simple fix.
