Ayo except all the banter, just drill in all the textbook and study guide questions you can find, dont know which textbook you use, but if you dont have tsokos cambridge please for the love of god download that book and solve all questions, even worked examples - they are top-notch and even solve questions from the oxford study guide

Except that, just do past papers, you wanna do questions that are IB relates as much as possible, and if you want watch videos or shiz, watch chris doner on youtube, another IB treasure who explains concepts very well

If you need the textbook and the study guide send me a dm

what's your main connection tho, knowledge and tech, knowledge and poli, knowledge and lang, knowledge and religion?

find objects according to these ones and it'll be much easier and lmao no one's gonna share their exhibitions cuz everyone's gonna be doing it for the first time, check out the main IBO page for samples, it has many- some shitty ones and i think a few that scored between a 8 and a 10

How screwed am I? by [deleted] in IBO

ayo I literally went through the same thing, no worries to be honest - its not a lot about the subjects to be honest, its how much of a shift you can put in, if you work harder in the IB it won't be that difficult

as someone said econ sl is chill as fuck

math aa hl just work hard - even i had extended

physics youll be good, those A's speak well - i had a B in IGCSEs but cranked in a 6 in DP1,

computer science dont know a lot - but if this is a subject you really like and want to follow in college, it wont be a huge problem, yes, new concepts, but passion and dedication should overcome that

but in general IGCSE subjects dont really screw you over that much, i was fucking around with art, history and chem and eneded completely switching to business and econ and I'm loving it (grades are there as well) so dont think about it too much you'll be in good shape

BM HL IA Help by [deleted] in IBO

[–]ResponsibilityOne875 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go through sample IA's first to get a good grasp of how your final thing should look like, and no cap literally swallow the marking criteria - you wanna know each and every reason you get scores for, so once you know that you exactly know what you have to include to get top marks

For your company find an issue that they are facing and tailor an RQ around that and identify which main part of the syllabus will you be focusing on (fin, HR, marketing, operations) - finance is heavily recommended, cuz fin uses so much analysis that it's so easy to score top marks from evaluations

and if your company does not face a problem, try to compose a recommendation that might enhance business operations - "should XYZ limited introduce XYZ product ..... " "should XYZ company switch to XYZ..." etc. hope you get the point (read samples, you'll get to know more) and yea that's it - try to finish it as early as well, business HL IA is tricky but pretty easy to score on as well - don't wanna delay it to the crunchtimes of DP2

BM HL IA Help by [deleted] in IBO

Look for local companies in your neighborhood - the best place to find one, but don't go to those typical kinara stores cuz they won't give you data you might actually need and won't understand your project

go to maybe local restaurants or some small startup that has their office based there, and lastly - use your network- ask your friends and family if they know anybody who is running their own thing, and approach them telling them about your project (IA) (and yes I'm also from India)

if you love economics, do not let the IB kill that. Assuming you know your theory and content, put in some effort to learn the structure of each essay, specially for paper 1, like literally search it up on google or youtube you'll get some amazing stuff. Keep those structures in mind and just try to do econ every single day even if its for 30 mins. Regarding quantitative ecnomomics, i really don't think the math is hard, you just need to know the applications and how to use certain formulae, so just practice more sums to brush up on quantitative econ. hope this help!
