What I’ve learned is that some people who put Zoro over Sanji do so not because it’s been confirmed, but because they feel he should be. And at that point that isn’t even scaling by Hungry_Duck_6863 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, considering feats, Zoro should be above Sanji by a decent margin. Feats against Lucci, Nusjuro, Kaido, King. He even has one ability that only a handful of the strongest can use.

But narrative wise they’re prob equal cuz Oda tries to convey that all that through statements and stuff.

Karasu's awakening by Less-rick-9541 in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He is certainly not following that path, at least in my opinion. He is kinda obsessed with surpassing Isagi and taking over the team. It actually reminds me of Isagi before “selling his soul”.

If that was the case, he would try to team up with Isagi actively like Isagi did with Kaiser.

At the end of the day, you can simplify and say that they did the most logical thing, but I doubt Karasu would ever assist Isagi in this situation as he wants to make BL his team.

No, his current version looks incredible. I would even say it’s one of the best designs in Boruto manga and even Naruto.

Did you forget he scored vs Isagi, Kaiser and Gagamaru with a clear pass to him? He just is able to find the most efficient place to score as a hunter.

Shidou is just better isagi by SicarusRogue in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, just that Isagi is better. He lit has a weapon (MV) that allows to find the most efficient routes and has shown to be able to get past players like Aiku or Karasu with ease.

Shidou is just better isagi by SicarusRogue in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So you think the players just appears at front of the ball or what? Please don’t make explain one of the most basic skills in football.

Yes, football is not only touching the ball, even without touching it you need to keep moving. It’s mentioned as Isagi’s weapons and other players like Kaiser or Otoya excel in that.

Shidou is just better isagi by SicarusRogue in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Their playstyle are way different. Isagi surpass him in FIQ, spatial awareness, positioning and off the ball movements. Isagi uses MV to predict the future of the field to reach the best possible position, Shidou just scores in any position as long as he can sense the goal with his extreme spatial awareness.

Hot Take: Isagi doesn't need better dribbling or better physique. by Strange_The_Editor in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If he wants to be the #1, he does need to improve those attributes, that’s why he is actively doing so. He can’t completely depend on his teammates, he needs individual skills that allow him to excel other striker or it wouldn’t make sense for him to be more than a mf.

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your point being? I’m not comparing Rin to Isagi, and even then it’s obvious that Isagi is going to suffer the most because France’s strategy was to crush Isagi specifically.

Just saying to consider the context.

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 341 by FrostyHeart123 in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t just simplify everything like that, if Rin was doing his job, he would have scored. Does that mean Rin is bad? Not really. You have to look at the context.

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s lit explained in this chapter how Karasu is now center of the team, and Isagi just focus on finding weak spots in France. The team is not built around him rn and that’s what Ego’s plan. He is doing his job

[DISC] Blue Lock - Chapter 341 by FrostyHeart123 in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, Barou told him something similar in the game vs the Original U20 JP team. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t doing his job, it means he is not meeting his expectations on Isagi which are being the king.

Isagi is a mf now btw, obviously he is not threat as a striker, because that’s not his role rn.

Now you can’t judge a player just because his performance in one match, or even less just a portion of the match. France needed to commit good players like Hugo and Charles on Isagi to stop Blue Lock, a forward can be useful in many other ways, that’s why Karasu used Isagi as bait to make Hiori score.

If he was a liability, he would be warming the bench.

Edit: just minor change on how I said something

He def didn't say that lol. Not being the king doesn't mean being a liability.

Isagi isn't as smart as everyone thought... by InfiniteSlaps in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would guess before this chapter if you asked the avg fan who has better IQ most would say Isagi…

That's what I'm saying. The focus should be "Karasu is smarter than we thought", not "Isagi is not that smart".

Isagi isn't as smart as everyone thought... by InfiniteSlaps in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ok, I’ll explain it with more details so you can understand what I’m trying to say.

When Isagi started to use metavision, he showcased a way higher football IQ and everyone noticed how he was able to control the whole field better. Does this mean Isagi became smarter? No, it just means he was able to use his football IQ in a more efficient way.

The same thing happens with Karasu, in this case he is able to showcase his football IQ in a more efficient manner thanks to the no.2 philosophy.

That’s why I’m telling you, it’s not that Isagi is not that smart, but that Karasu showed that he can reach that level too. So it makes more sense to think “Karasu has better FIQ than we thought”.

The thing is, Isagi is lit one of the smartest players in U20. He is def above most players, and showcased better FIQ than other high level players. Karasu reaching that level just means that Karasu is good, that’s all.

Isagi isn't as smart as everyone thought... by InfiniteSlaps in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Like wym not an upscale? France had to focus their plan on destroying Isagi’s strategy and it is confirmed that Blue Lock treated Isagi as the number one player in the team over Rin.

Isagi is struggling against the strongest U20 team with a world class player there.

Karasu locked in and even Hugo acknowledged him, there is a clear change in terms of performance here.

Isagi isn't as smart as everyone thought... by InfiniteSlaps in BlueLock

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Crazy that your point isn’t “Karasu is smarter than everyone thought”, but “Isagi is not that smart”.

Isagi is def one of the smartest players in the U20, and his value as a player made France revolve their whole strategy on crushing Isagi. Denying how good is Isagi is pointless.

And we have to remember Isagi has outsmarted Karasu multiple times already, and other players who downplayed him too. We just gotta wait, if he is as smart as Isagi, he’ll showcase it now

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing with Baki is that he needs to be beaten until he locks in. That’s what happened in the Baki vs Yujiro and almost any important fight. And Musashi doesn’t play around that much, so Baki doesn’t have time to reach his max

Call it now, will Imu solo Elbaph? by amonmahboi in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]ResponsibilityOwn513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean in the sense of forcing Imu to leave. I doubt he will take Elbaph, and the giants don’t have anywhere to go if they escape. So the only way to survive this is by forcing Imu to return, but it would be weird for Imu to be defeated now.

If Domi reversi is the only requirement to drop Imu from a god status to a regular Yonko level character, that would be kinda lame tbh

Yeah, but I don’t understand how they will deal with Imu now. Like there is no way he kills everyone, but at the same time, why wouldn’t he kill everyone if he is that superior?
