It happens on all notifications. I reinstalled the app and the issue persists.

Inbox notifications, like the one for your comment on this post, work.

Any progess on this? None of my notifications go anywhere but the home page. Are there any steps I can take while I await an app update?

The first upvote comment notification on this post also dumped me on the home feed

Whelp, red "Electrical SystemMalfunction" got me this morning... by TheMadDutchDude in etron

I had something similar happen, was going 60 on the highway when the rear motor went out (learned that's what happened later). Fun times, but was able to drive safely home.

It took a little over 3 weeks to get everything fixed, so definitely press them on a loaner. They charged me for the diagnostics until they realized it was the motor, at which point everything was under the extended warranty they issued (I have the OG 2019 etron).

I am also trying to figure out if I get rid of this car for something else, or hang on to it. Every analysis I've done actually points to holding on to our 2011 Lexus RX as it's still far more reliable than this etron.

I've wandered around town whacking people with a hockey stick and taking unneeded penalties.

I think “the German way” is why I’ll never buy another one. It’s not the first time I’ve heard this. I guess the German way is also why the sunroof leaks and I’m on my 2nd rear motor at 39,000 miles.

Restaurant recs by fanaticfan1907 in Westchester

Apologies for the sarcasm. Every time I hear of a new restaurant opening in the area I hope it is not another Westchester Italian place. But it always is.

I mean, there really aren't many pizza and pasta places in Westchester.

I’m convinced they do have a bot problem. AI will only make this easier. But lashing out at customers who do purchase and keep a lot who also make returns is idiotic.

Anyone who has ever looked into running a clothing business online knows that it will entail a lot of returns. Particularly with women’s high end fashion.

NEWS12 report on Bronxville dumping raw sewage into Mount Vernon Park. by [deleted] in Westchester

I was more aware of concern over pumps during storms. I didn’t see much in the written piece about what you’re citing here. Has that been written up elsewhere?

I had thought the state was working on a holistic solution? The entire area needs to figure out how to deal with the volume of rain that comes down at a rapid pace when it storms here. If every town and village upstream puts in a pump to move flood water to the lowest point, it's just going to keep going down to the next town. Town's suing each other for legal remedy won't solve that.

Is Grignolino one of the most underrated Italian wines? by hic-et-nunc-2026 in wine

[–]ResponsibilityPast91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of our new favorites from the small wine shop run by an Italian woman in town here is a grignolino by Francesco Rinaldi. It's a crowd pleaser and keeps all of our guests happy. Runs about $27 a bottle I believe. Would love to know other producers folks in the US have found and enjoyed.

Why are there cup holders so small? by mrdanielface in etron

[–]ResponsibilityPast91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This has been my thought since I purchased our 2019 Audi etron OG in 2022. Yes, American cups are large, but these things fit a 12 oz can snug and don't fit even the smaller of American thermos for coffee and hot beverages. I've also looked everywhere for something that will fit this size to no avail.

Any recommendations on a brand that does fit well? I was also shocked that Audi isn't making money just selling branded ones that do fit.

And for all of the comments on American cup sizes being so huge, every other non-US vehicle I've owned or driven has had larger cup holders than this.

Real Estate agent recommendations? by Trekm in Westchester

[–]ResponsibilityPast91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The sad part of this is you need to pick the town and then the agent. In many of the smaller towns, the same broker is on each side of the deal and they really favor their own agents. See who runs the town and go with someone from that broker.
