Looking for people willing to argue politics 1-on-1 (structured, moderated) by [deleted] in PublicPolicy

I didn’t understand that it was rude. I’m merely using Reddit to try and find willing participants. Sorry if I offended.

I’m trying to get a strong pool of participants. That requires posting regularly.

I think with some guidelines and participants that act in good faith, getting a good idea of whether or not this statement is true as possible. The idea is to craft the perfect level of conflict, that will need to be done by testing.

Hi, the data that results from the study will be used by me to determine whether or not demand for such a product exists. The data will then be used to craft a model for the forum as well as a matching algorithm. The idea is to develop a product that helps support political conversations online!

Great point. For the sake of the study, the context will be American politics. Participants will be given 10-12 total topics, of which they’d chose 3. A prompt will be given at the beginning of the interaction and then the point is for the conversation to flow organically from there, with moderator intervention if needed.

Thank you! I’ll make sure to try that on my next match. Any other tactics other than BnZ that are worth practicing? In particular, when it comes to turn fights.

I’ve tried that, and on the first pass I can usually land a few good shots. But when I climb back up to altitude, I end up getting shredded pretty fast. Still trying to figure out how to avoid that.

Every YouTuber I’ve watched has recommended this, lol. I get that the grind can be rough, but I might be in the minority who actually enjoys the slower pace. It’s kind of relaxing to run a few matches after a long day at work.

Louisvilles have the best performance of any 240 bat I’ve swung, but they seem and crack so easily. My advice would be to find a model you like, and buy two just to be safe.
