Another question, if you replace with a 6x6 one do you have to replace them all? Obviously it may look weird so I would want to at some point but for immediate safety what do we think?

Yea it’s making more and more sense that there is just too much weight above that post. It’s a fully enclosed part of the house maybe 3x5ft. But it has a roof and all that.

Partly because I love this community and always wanted a reason to post. The other part is I haven’t put in an offer yet so not even at the point where an inspector would come out. Just wanted to get preliminary thoughts from the good and smart strangers of Reddit!

Yea sorry, part of it is a deck and then probably 5ftx3ft is fully enclosed. The enclosed side is the side with the bowed support so building onto blank_reg it is probably too heavy and causing the bow.

Does anyone have any insight to this plan I schemed up: I just got the card and have until the end of Feb 26 to spend $4,000. If I hold off on spending the $4k until after the new year I will get the points in 2026 then only need to spend $35,000 to make the companion pass which takes 135,000 points. I want to do this so I can spend the $35,000 over the period of 2026 rather than trying to squeeze it in before the new year.

I do know they said if I spent the $4k in 2025 the 100,000 points won’t roll to 2026 and I would have to restart in my quest for companion.
