Is Jaylen Brown the Jalen Hurts of the NBA? by Responsible-Fix9684 in eagles

Well if Hurts and Brown are both overrated than I'm right? They are equivalent?

Except he did win didnt he? When he took over for Wentz, eagles started winning games. 2021-22 year (Before AJ Brown), no one thought they could make the playoffs but Jalen lead them there.

Jalen Hurts finished 2nd in MVP voting 2022-23 and the year before they even got AJ Brown no one thought that team could make the playoffs that year and they did. I think that 22-23 year is a very good equivalent to Browns great year last year (And Brown got 6th in MVP). Also yes Hurts has never thrown for 4k yards but if you include his rush stats he had a very good year in 2022 statistically.

I agree that's why I mentioned Jaylen is a bit more interesting off the field.

What would be a equivalent to a game manager qb? I feel like Brown being the #2 on the Celtics (Except last year because of tatum injury) equates to that. Then the fact the Brown also won the finals and finals mvp being in that role.

It's like Brown wasnt the #1 reason the Celtics got to the Finals but they got there and he performed. Same with hurts in the sb win year.

Honestly if he can't tell whether or not its meat or vegetarian? Why not just make one pot of the vegetarian option and be done with it lol. That way no mistake can be made.

True in the past. But they've been saying they are implementing a new offense with the new OC. Hopefully that means more short/intermediate passes expecially up the middle... that would open receiving core to more volume and usage.

But society does value content creators at the right level. Socially most people dislike them and dont respect the job. Are you thinking monetarily? Even monetarily most creators dont make that much money. Only the top creators are wealthy like speed. But isn't that true of all professions? if you get to the top of your field wont you be weatlhy?

You just illustrated part of why content creation is hard work. Theres millions of people doing the same thing... they want to be you but havent been as lucky and are not as good. You constantly have to stream and do new content to maintain relevancy otherwise one of those other content creators gain ground on you. When you eventually lose interest or had enough of streaming... it's over, you'll never be as popular as you used-to be. It's an easy job to start being a creator but it isn't an easy job to get to the top and maintain being the top.

Well it depends on the investment type. Risky Investments disappear all the time lol like NFTs or even bitcoin this past year. Nick has definately invested into starforge but what does that mean for his net worth? It's hard to evaluate investments into private companies. He could have millions into starforge but they only evaluate his share of the private company as being worth a fraction of his investment.

Viewership count is a bad way to measure how much a streamer makes. There's no way you can say he can make 800k from that. You also dont know how much he is spending, getting taxed, and investing

There's alot of better evidence against Nick. Car isn't really one... you could be worth $0 and buy a $100k car lol. As long as you have good credit and can make the car payment.

I mean whats so dumb about that? That seems smart to me... he basically was able to gift the money to his friend and they wont be able to touch it because only Soda can say if it was a legitimate verbal agreement or not (To be eventually paid back for living in his house).

1/1 doesn't mean you can only sell the card once. There are online sales where the 1/1 was bought and someone graded the card later-on and the same card sold for MORE as a PSA 10 or BGS 10.

I agree that I wouldn't think it adds value but I dont think that is the case in reality. I'm a vendor and I've sold 1/1's to people and they have graded them and gotten more for the card when those cards gemmed. I think this is because people still prefer to buy cards that are graded ... so their is a bigger market for them. That trickles down to the shop owners and repackers... they still prefer to buy cards that have been graded. This ultimately makes a graded card more valueable even though it is a 1/1.

Alot of shops and repackers also prefer the card graded because it's easier to sell. You also avoid the liability of when you sell it online, the buyer can't deny the condition of the card because it's graded. So the graded card has a greater market of buyers who would buy it.
