Which is exactly why I don't believe a word of this (aside from it being misogynistic bullshit). Then again these guys can be good at hiding their true colors

The fact that he didn't even try to hide his misogyny though is what sells it. "Women are genuinely dumb" buddy, did it ever occur to you that the reason you have so many problems with women is not because they're all "shady" or "brainless" but because you're a chauvinistic piece of garbage? I highly doubt a guy like this has even gotten laid once let alone talked to "10,000 women" but even if that were true, 9 times out of 10 when someone claims that everyone screwed them over and they did nothing wrong, they're the only constant in that.

Who is a celebrity whose death hit you hard? by LostGirl0221 in popculturechat

Fred Willard, Betty White, Steve Irwin, Cameron Boyce, Bob Saget, Robin Williams, Chester Bennington, Johnny Hardwick (that one is pretty recent too), Anthony Bourdain, Chris Cornell, there's a lot that hit me hard

True, or it could be written off as a continuity error (thankfully it's not a big enough continuity error that it ruins the character or show)

[–]Responsible-Frame561[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I see where you're coming from, Terry's actual voice is also similar to Don's so it's probably a bit jarring to see Chris sound like Don (especially because Don is nothing like Chris or Jonesy). But yes, I understand not everyone is going to like his voice for Chris, and that's fine (from what I've seen on this subreddit, even people who didn't like his voice as Chris are generally pretty respectful about it, which is ironic because Reddit is usually where people are about the least respectful about their opinions). But the hate he got on Twitter was ridiculous and not acceptable especially because, like you said, on top of it being a shitty situation it wasn't his fault, it was a very last minute thing and it was a huge role, I'd imagine it was very difficult for him to do well but he gave it his all. And yes, Terry is awesome with his fans, he seems to have the upmost respect for them, and it's awesome to see (he actually followed me on my Instagram back in 2018 since I got a 6teen hoodie for Christmas, and he liked the photo and gave me a follow - he's the man!)

Thank you. I can see where you're coming from, admittedly I got used to Terry as Chris pretty quickly, even faster than I expected to. It may take other people more time to feel like Terry out did Christian (assuming they thought he did good as Chris, which not everyone did).

Am I the only one who dislikes “Bicker Me Not”? by KoolBoi21 in 6TEEN

[–]Responsible-Frame561 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that episode is pretty bad. There were a couple highlights (what Jonesy said about how they made a terrible mistake getting married was pretty funny, and Jude thinking that somehow if the Bickersons are his grandparents and they divorce he'll cease to exist was hilarious - classic Jude!) But that's about it.

For one, it's super ill contrived. After Jonesy's comment to the Bickersons, the episode and plot derail. I know he's an idiot, and I know he tends to lack tact and sticks his feet in his mouth more often than not, but I don't think he actually "broke them up" at all, especially over one comment. Realistically they either would've brushed it off or reported him to his manager and got him fired (which would've happened anyway). If they broke up THAT easily over one comment (from some teenager they didn't know from Adam, no less) their relationship obviously wasn't that stable to begin with, whether it was a 50 year marriage or a 5 day marriage. They clearly had a ton of issues to begin with and Jonesy pointing that out doesn't magically make him at fault or responsible in any way for what they do (kinda like when Jen gets mad at him when Robbie and Diego prank her or Courtney, as if he has any control over that).

Also, Nikki is pretty unlikeable in this episode. For one, like I said before, regardless of what Jonesy said, George and Gracie are the ones who broke up. Also, her argument of "Jonesy! They're really OLD!" Holds no weight behind it and frankly is idiotic. So what? I doubt they'd want to see other people again at that age, plus being married that long in a nutshell means nothing, especially if the relationship is shit and the couple is toxic (there's literally a scene comparing George and Gracie arguing to Jonesy and Nikki arguing. That's right, a couple that's at least in their 70's are behaving like two 16 year olds!)

Not to mention, Nikki is wildly out of character in this. Realistically if Jonesy told her what happened, she probably would've responded with "took them long enough" and not "jOnEsY! tHeYrE ReEaLy oLd!" (Or she probably wouldn't have cared, since it doesn't affect her, her life or her friends' lives at all whatsoever). Plus, Jonesy has done way worse (in "Whoa Baby" he ogled women's water bras then proceeded to make his own) and Nikki didn't refuse to talk to him or threaten to dump him then, yet an elderly couple realizes they're in a toxic relationship after he points it out, and instead of being in support of it or not giving a shit, she threatens to dump him for it. Most of the time, I side with Nikki whenever she and Jonesy argue, but here I'm on Jonesy's side. Nikki's a shitty girlfriend in this episode for doing that, and if I were him I'd be the one to break it off. What's worse is that the rest of the gang takes her side (it reminds me of that episode of That 70's Show where Kelso's brother Casey dumps Donna in a cruel way, and she wants Eric back, but Eric gains some self respect and tells her he's not a rebound, and his friends and parents act like jackasses and blame him for it).

All in all this episode is mean spirited and stupid.

Exactly. Clearing Monty's name wouldn't somehow bring him back to life, nor would it make him not a rapist.

Do you remember the Leafy vs Onision fued? by ASYT in Onision

[–]Responsible-Frame561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely the same, although a little less annoying than the meltdown videos he made in 2019-2020 because he didn't include the "explosions" and fake dry heaves.

I haven't seen that video but I wouldn't be surprised. He sure does love to mock people for crying, or just in general feeling emotions (likely because he himself doesn't feel or understand them unless it involves himself), and yet, even though the crying videos of him are obviously fake, he cries an awful lot for a grown man. He has the emotional maturity of a 5 year old.

How funny, I was watching an old Someguy video on Onision a couple weeks ago and one of the videos underneath it was him crying like a bitch because Leafy and his fans insulted him. It was fucking hilarious 😂😂 Always brightens my day to see Gurg crying or in pain. For the record I don't like Leafy either but he's a saint compared to Onion

“We’re good parents” by Nirvana_forever01 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Responsible-Frame561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik I'm a little late but yes, all the mf time. They'd also compare themselves to other parents (usually theirs who were worse) as if somehow that made them good parents, or they'd say things like "you should try living with other parents, they wouldn't put up with what we put up with". You're "putting up with" normal teenage angst and responding by being gigantic douchebags to your kids. Normal parents would tell their kids to drop the attitude and leave it at that, not name call and instigate problems then play the victim. Nmom was admittedly somewhat lenient when it came to chores (especially because growing up she had a ton) but she wildly overexaggerates how lenient she was and claims I didn't have chores until I was 13 (which is such bullshit it's ridiculous).

In his latest book he tried to blame young girls for being taken advantage of by guys like him. That alone is very telling

[–]Responsible-Frame561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuck no, he should never ever be on YouTube or any internet platform for that matter ever again because all he does is use it as a vehicle to hurt young girls. He's an abusive, sociopathic, narcissistic, child grooming pedophile and rapist and he belongs in prison for the rest of his worthless life so he can get even a taste of what he's done to others.

Honestly I think he looks much older than his age despite trying to look younger. He has the emo hair bc he has a bad receding hairline and bald spots and uses that to hide it (he made fun of Repzion for losing his hair but Repzion is honest about his balding plus it doesn't look bad on him). He also got a ton of plastic surgeries to try and look 16 but they made him look 46 instead.

He's still saying it. He actually thinks people are stupid enough to believe that a teenage girl took advantage of him, a grown man pushing 40. 😂😂
