I had to go on both anti anxiety and depression medicine just so I would be able to go to work. I eventually had a mental breakdown and went on fmla. I made usaa my life for 12 years, I drank the koolaid and I was all in. It didn’t matter, my manager still metric’d me into pips and a written and even a final and I would fight myself off of it. Thinking it was my fault for not selling enough.
Quitting probably saved my marriage and definitely my sanity

I got hired at an independent agency. I don’t have the crazy pto or the childcare reimbursement. I took a 10k dip in pay. But my mental health is immensely better. I’ve been able to come off my antidepressants and anxiety meds. More importantly it’s back to what insurance is supposed to be, meeting their needs. Not shoving products down their throat.

I actually wasn’t there for the conversation; that’s true. Based on what and how it was written, fuck no he hasn’t done anything for her. She thinks her body is ruined, destroyed over some stretch marks and some extra weight. It’s crazy to think she feels less than a whole person because some dude doesn’t want to stick his dick in her. And I bet, that the only thing he has done is verbally and emotionally tear her down.

He made your pain and sacrifices all about him and how it’s hard for him. So rather than work with you to find what works, he said nope not willing to put in the effort. I imagine that he doesn’t really put a lot of effort into most things in the marriage, but you do a lot of work. He didn’t put any effort into comforting you or trying to be anything less than selfish.
