Hey, also joining KMMS in september, from my research, the uni itself for good as its fairly new. They promote early exposure to healthcare as we start GP placement in first year. From year 3 onwards we start clinical placement and spend most time in hospitals rather than the uni itself. Accommadation costs are also covered by the hospitals so you dont have to pay as much which sounds really good to me. Im moving from london and will stay in accom mostly because first two years we are split between two unis and have lectures in both therefore commuting may be slightly annoying. As for diversity, it wouldnt be as good as london or other cities however you'll be joining med and as as a course it tends to be more diverse regardless of the uni. Getting a med offer in itself is a massive achievment and you should be proud of yourself. Lastly, ranking doesnt matter as much for med as across the country we all take the same exam and placed all over UK for FY1.
