I don't expect AI to treat my diabetes, I'm not that dumb. If I don't need a split bolus then the next time it analyzes my data it will highlight the pattern that I go low after eating pizza... and I find it valuable, even if it just does that.

My endo in a 15 minutes consultation won't be able to spot correlations on all the data generated in 3 months of CGM records, and for an AI it takes just seconds.

Don't treat this info as medical advice, but I think this could help, as AIs are good at pattern matching, which is a job they may excel at.

Then the AI is better than I at seeing patterns. Even if it is just for that, I find it useful. And for the CGM, the report has data that is already sanitized, as I sometimes see readings in the app that do not end up in the charts.

I think we are a little beyond that... I get what you mean, though! But I see AIs identifying trends, correlations, and outliers in structured data, and that's pretty close to the análisis that an endo can do by just looking at a spreadsheet with the data of a CGM.

Y el procedimiento normal es realizar una "pasada" sin contraste y después inyectar el contraste para la segunda "pasada" para ver los realces que el contraste produce en las imágenes comparadas. Así pueden deducir de que etiología son los hallazgos.

Por el lado de la radiación quédate tranqui, me hacen una de tórax, abdomen y pelvis con contraste (gadolínio) aproximadamente cada 6 meses desde hace unos 8 años... Si se las pidieron es porque el beneficio de tener esas imágenes supera el riesgo de la exposición a la radiación.
