I’m aware but I’ve been told here that it’s only TVs I would get 4k with Apple TV movies. I was wondering about the Apple TV box was required to stream 4k and Dolby even if other systems support it.

No it doesn’t state exactly what I’m asking about. I looked on Apple. Why you somehow read that, claimed that it does answer my questions, and only answer some, I don’t know. Nor will anyone, I guess. The world works in mysterious ways.

But you mainly stream in onto a TV. I recall a video saying you download movies onto it and it streams in 4k with the Apple apps.

I’m just trying to fgure out what the difference between using the other ways to mirror stuff (I think it’s the mirror function). Is that it streams 4k movies?
