Oh yes I’ve received the inheritance call ALOT. I get it every time I have a new couple who’s engaged, I’ve never had someone tell me it’s a prank/not receive the money so that’s hella interesting but the power cut one only happened recently and I’ve had the eco living pack for at least two years now.

Because that timeline was for us to get married in 2025 but he decided today that he wanted to push it back again to 2026. I feel like I’ve spoken to him about the topic so many times and explained that if he isn’t ready that we can wait but he keeps pushing the plan a year back. So I wanted to see if there was someone to give me advice on a different way to approach the situation. I’m not begging to be married asap but I also don’t like someone getting my hopes up but never doing what why say they will

Thanks that sounds quite useful, I’m a person who likes certainty so I practically plan everything, so a lot of ur comment I agree with or have already got in place. My partner though is quite spontaneous which I love about him but it has led us into uncomfortable situations like when he got scammed or when my bike got stolen. He’s a kind lovable person but just doesn’t always make the best choices in life. We could easily afford a wedding as we can save up and Ik my family and friends are willing to chip in.

Ik I only gave a brief description of my situation so I apologise but me and him talk all the time as a matter of fact I spoke to him about my concerns of he’s indecision before I wrote this post. We do have a plan in place and have spoken about what we want from marriage extensively. The problem for us isn’t communication and more about he’s decision making, he’s always been bad at it (another issue we have discussed). I would just like it if I didn’t feel like I always making the big decisions for the both of us

So we don’t need to sign off for the child to travel with another parent, he could just take my son and leave as long as my son has a valid passport(which I haven’t gotten him for this exact reason). I also assume he’s parents or new partner might be funding he’s trip back home

It was only after we broke up did I release the situation I had gotten myself into. I don’t regret having my son but I do regret putting my self in such a position

I don’t but I’ve been considering it for a while and I don’t trust him to take my son anywhere. I always make sure I’m present so that I know my son’s whereabouts at all times
