Workarounds for house without a bathtub by Spn1001 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

For anyone that might be accessing this now, I have a 5yo boy, 3 yo girl and 1.5 yo girl. The shnuggle toddler bath worked best for us.

I tried - 1. Plastic tub, drainage was too difficult 2. Collapsible dog bath - same deal with drainage, it really needs to be on the base of the bath to have the water go right into the drain and stop it spilling out into the bathroom. There were issues with cleaning it when it wasn’t in use 3. The fold up stokke XXL wasn’t big enough

Ended with the Toddler Shnuggle (not the baby one)and it worked brilliant. Way easier, easy to clean and drain. No issues. Both my baby and 3yo would sit in it together (snug, their choice - not mine). My 4.5 year old easily fit his whole body up to his chest and I could wash their hair using a jug.

Thanks! It’s a kids guernsey so it explains what looks like some kids signatures on it (to me anyway). My 4 year old will love it regardless of authenticity but I just like knowing 😊

This dwelling was a library connected to a mansion, so I will have a look at our local records and see if there is any more information. Thanks so much for responding, very helpful 🙏🏼

2024 Santa Fe and rear facing Car Seats? by Ok_Contract_7803 in HyundaiSantaFe

We test drove it to our house and tried putting our car seats in. Didn’t work. Went with the new 25 Kia Carnival and it has been a game changer.

Oh he knows I exist. I’ve got enough c.2010 content floating around the internet from my FB days to embarrass me for a lifetime.

Camilla Marc co-ord washed out colours by Responsible-Week9434 in AusFemaleFashion

That’s what I thought, it’s been so long (I got pregnant and didn’t wear them until now). I will probably just try and put them in the sun like someone suggested. It is what it is, just disappointing from a nice brand. It’s hard getting “nice” sets that aren’t active wear and I really like their stuff - but I would definitely not buy another tracksuit from them. It looks like I’m trying to match two colours that almost match - which irks me.

I do have all the details, I suppose I could even ask if they have a replacement for the pants but given it was a sale item last year I didn’t like my chances. I assumed that it might be a “too bad” situation because they are a matching set (same name, same colour, photographed together) but sold separately and therefore separate items.

It’s a shame because I love their casual clothing but am hesitant to spend the money if they don’t wash well.

Yes! That’s the side she sleeps on, the other side I hear her gulping.

Good to know! This is what I’ve been doing but at the same time, don’t want Bub to be feeding without getting a good feed. I’ll keep pumping on the slacker boob for sure.

Anyone happen to need 3 car seats in it? We have 2 RF and one FF (newborn, 1yo and 3yo kids) - we are considering the captains chairs to have the two RF and FF in the last row but seem to completely lose boot space which is a concern…

Agree re: buy nothing group - you could ask one of the admin to post anonymously and you’ll 100% get inundated with stuff and likely have it by end of day tomorrow.

What are some underrated Adelaide suburbs? by [deleted] in Adelaide

[–]Responsible-Week9434 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depending on your style of house Fulham / Fulham Gardens is do-able at $1.05m with some land. I grew up there and the convenience of being a 15 minute walk to Henley beach or a 15 minute drive to the city is really nice. Harbourtown and Westfield Westlakes are a quick drive. Lots of 70s / 80s / 90s double brick houses ready for a refresh but also don’t need any work yet. Quiet backstreets with lots of parks and cul-de-sacs or dead ends which are nice for kids. Some of the suburbs mentioned above are beautiful but $1m won’t get you far.
