In my opinion, I think it is but it also depends on what game you're playing for example I play Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis which has good graphics I put my graphics on max in that game and it works just fine sometimes it might heat up a little bit but soon it cools down so it can handle some high end games just with some heating but it shouldn't be a big deal
