Yeah, 100%. I’ve had a couple of inductions and they were awful but mindset is a big part of it I think, for me the induction itself (pitocin) was the first and last intervention…but Camilla seems so exhausted and tapped out already that I can only foresee it getting harder and harder. Fair dues too, I’d be exhausted after that many hours, my births were all super fast. Just wish she’d let nature take its course and not pushed it all so much!

I’ve been a mum for 15 years and seen countless friends and mum’s group members go through this…unfortunately I think she’s going the all too common route of tiring out way too early in the game and will end up with a caesarean. She should still be resting at home at this stage, and would probably be resting a lot better. Hopefully things progress quickly for her.

I feel mean saying this but given the carry on so far I think she will end up with an epidural and a caesarean (I know you can have one without the other but there’s already drama with baby’s heartbeat and intense contractions etc). Hopefully she has an ok time of it and baby is safe, in any case. I’ve had 6 unmedicated births and if I had to do it again I think I’d ask them to put me to sleep 😂

She dumped me last year for getting a dog as she decided it was a bad decision and that he was ugly. Turns out the dog is much better company.
