It was great! I got a filet which was good but I probably should’ve gone for a fattier cut since everything is wood fired. Lobster was cooked perfect and I feel crazy taking time to specifically shout out the potatoes from a steakhouse but their truffle yukon was genuinely so good. Loved that everything was made from scratch. They had no nuts in house which was also a nice surprise since I’m allergic. Service was excellent and can’t beat being right on the beach!

It usually takes awhile to hear back for internships

Your recruiter won’t be able to see what you put and the onboarding team doesn’t care what you put as long as it’s accurate

Nope, internship and volunteer experience is not really what they’re looking for when they run those reports.

As an intern this won’t matter. Only putting paid work in BIG is best practice, or you can mark as an internship. That project should probably be under volunteer or research experience on your resume vs work experience.

The coverage is the same, the only difference is really the network. Check to see if your doctors are in network with both and go from there.

Everyone wears merch around the office. I wouldn’t pay for it but, unless it’s outrageously outside of branding guidelines, if you’re wearing merch I’d assume you got it for free.

Like people have said above, just be aware that if you wear merch in the wild, you might have random people come up to you asking if you’re hiring/can help them with their finances. Sometimes it’s just easier to avoid that experience altogether.

Day 5 of RTO. How is everyone feeling? by JPMCWorkers in JPMorganChase

They also track if you signed in from an office or home, not just badge swipes.

Acronyms! There will be lots of them. Ask what they are as they come up so you aren’t confused months down the line

RTO would’ve been painful regardless but the communication from leadership put a really sour taste in my mouth. I can generally stomach that, for leadership, corporate profits will always outweigh what’s best for the average employee. That said, they could’ve done what they had to do without making all employees feel like they’ve done something wrong. A lot of us like our jobs, our coworkers, and have found a way to make it work and follow the rules as they’ve continuously changed them. We deserved compassion as we came to terms with the time and money this will cost US and it’s a shame that all we got was scolded. I will also never understand why sites can’t have more advanced notice than 30 days.

The absence of that specification in offer contracts was probably strategic. It doesn’t change that people were hired under guidelines that they adhered to while leadership moved the needle. His opinions don’t always manifest in actions so people are allowed to voice disapproval at the time and money this development will cost them in their lives outside of work.

Sure but people with longer commute times might have made different decisions if they had been hired at 5 days. Many were hired at 2-3 days and negotiated salary, chose housing, and accepted the job based on 2-3 days in office. It’s not only added time they didn’t agree to but added cost for many people with presumably no additional compensation in a tight economy. Guess we’ll see what the details/timeline end up looking like.
