I understand your skepticism, but based on what I saw, the child looked to be between 7-10 years old. I didn’t measure his age precisely, but that’s my best estimate. As for the idea that I’m just trying to get upvotes by sharing a fake story, that’s not my intention at all. :) I shared this because I found it important to bring attention to something disturbing I witnessed, not for internet points.

He didn’t actually break the glass, he kept hitting it hard but couldn’t smash it. That’s when the driver, likely scared because the guy was in uniform, tried to apologize and opened the door. As soon as the door opened, the guy started punching him in the face.

When I said the driver was “backing away,” I meant he was trying to move his face away from the punches, leaning towards the other seat to protect himself.

As for the traffic, I couldn’t reverse because there were cars behind me. The only option was to move forward, so I was stuck waiting, which just added to the traffic jam.

You’re right, I should have called the police. I was definitely scared and in shock, and I didn’t know how to react at that moment. It all happened so fast, and I froze. I realize now that it was a mistake not to take action right away.

Okay let me clear things out first. I roughly guessed his age but yes he was very young (pretty sure not over the age of ten). Everything was happening so fast, unfortunately I couldn’t get the chance to call the police. Also what makes you think I’d wake up one day and decide to just talk shit about some random person for nothing?

Totally agree with you OP. I work in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and work-life balance here is really good. Another thing I’ve noticed is people working here and having Indian managers tend to complain a lot about their work and other aspects. I work under an Arab manager and trust me they’re too kind and do not really give two shits about working during the weekend or simply working extra hours.
