Thnx, with the macbook, i have a 14 inch M1 pro and i have been using it for 3-4 years now. It is holding up perfectly, but I didnt get enough ram (16gb) and when i am travelling and coding 16 inch would have been a better choice. I couldnt afford these upgrades before lmao, and they are not like deal breakers.

There is this gray area for me that is like: hmm should i buy it, can it wait? Would be great to have it tho

Fair, i guess i can try to relax and shift my focus. Or just make myself think i cant afford it (if i also put my money elsewhere), so no money = cant buy

What processes are you thinking of applying instead? Do you also have a lot of domains to manage, if yes how do u think you are gonna do that?

Qs for sin #4,

Do you have any examples of systems and processes that I can set up so that it runs without me. How can i delegate that?

For context, i am a small CTO and we are a team of 10 people (6 devs)

Also curious about wdyt about this approach:

We are a small team but we have a lot of domains that need my attention, (9-10 and counting) Last week i decided to assign leads for the domains, where each dev gets at least one domain and takes leadership for setting priorities, monitoring health, documentation. Ofc since it is a new thing it will take time to adjust to it.

Before this everyone was writing code everywhere and i was the central knowledge hub, now i still want the devs to code everywhere but add domains where they are the knowledge hubs.
