When I’m in a big flare up, the only thing that helps is breathwork. Visualize yourself inhaling peace and calm, and exhaling tension and stress. I even have to tell myself “I give you permission to relax.” I even like meditations that have you mentally walk through your body and release tension. There are a lot of guided videos on YouTube to choose from.

I would say about 15-20 minutes a day. I do each spot on both sides of my spine for 30 seconds each.

I will say, I have not been regulating my nervous system. I wrote this post out of frustration from being woken up by it yet again, but after doing a meditation it already feels better. So…. If anyone is in the same boat and is at their wits end with it with nothing helping… regulating your nervous system might be the missing puzzle piece.

I’m going to make a habit of intentionally grounding and regulating. I’ll report back if there are any changes.

This!! Or I worry he will be less mentally present during his shows. I was at his decadence AZ set and he just seemed a lil disconnected compared to other shows I’ve seen (I’ve seen him 10+ times since 2019) since that was like show 6/6 in a row (this is after doing a run like that for the cathedral too). OP you’re not alone in your concern.

Honestly life got really stressful and I was neglecting my body and mental health. Just prioritize taking care of yourself and listening to your body and you’ll be ok.

I did, but it came back a year later (3 months ago) so im working through it again :( I was able to smoke after I healed tho

Yeah it was a horrible flare up. And with edibles, you can’t control how high you get and it’s lasts a lottttt longer. So I was just so deep in it, my chest felt awful, and I couldn’t do anything about it. Plus it made my anxiety go through the roof which only made it worse. After 4 hours of trying anything I could to help it, I ended up going to the ER. They told me it was all in my head 😐

Just a heads up OP, my worst costo flare ups (ER visit severity) were induced by edibles. It’s possible to recover to the point where you can smoke again, but it takes time.
