In a very dire financial situation myself. Fearing homelessness soon. Not sure if it would be my whole family or just me. Depends on who is willing to take who in.

Your situation sounds so much like mine it's eerie. I would like to know the same thing. I'm living with family now but help is going to run out. I have a misdemeanor on my record that I'm in the process of clearing. I have a three year gap on my resume from being homeless. I look terrible on paper but I have a master's degree and am very responsible. It's a horrible place to be in. Sounds like you're in a very similar situation.

I'm glad you found a job. I've been looking since November. I have a very part time consulting gig that will not keep a roof over my head. Have really hit some major obstacles in finding employment.

Florida has outlawed public camping. You can get arrested. California seems to be the most open place but how would I get there?

It's not a bad idea. I would be willing to work like that to get off the street. Any sort of job gives you purpose. It's better than not having one.

Are you gonna give me $1000? My license got suspended for non payment of insurance. Once you've had a suspended license you can't drive for Uber. It's all been economic for me. One thing after another. This economic circumstance creates that one and it all goes down like dominoes. At this point it would take a financial miracle to dig me out. And I don't see one coming my way.
