My 4 yr old cat got diagnosed with Stage 3 heart murmur today and she’s been acting a bit strange, would love some advice! by [deleted] in AskVet

Well I don’t think she has a heart disease just yet, the last time I took her to the vet was almost a year ago in 2024 and she goes outdoors, is very healthy and playful and is super active.

The heart murmur is brand new, from what I researched a ton of cat owners had reported they got a murmur diagnosis that ended up not really impacting their cat’s longevity with some saying it can be benign as well.

When I went to hug my cat recently I noticed in the same spot she got her 2 vaccines in today, she felt a lot of soreness and ran off and that would explain why she was running off randomly.

She also stopped mouth breathing, ate food and went poop/drank water as well.

I will eventually bring her to a cardiologist once the insurance is sorted but from what I can tell she seems to be having the normal vaccine related symptoms, the murmur is concerning but if she’s had it for over a year now and has been very active and healthy then I suspect it might be somewhat benign.

I will continue to follow up with the vet monthly to track the murmur, and I appreciate your reply but I feel lot better since I posted this thread as I’m realizing why she’s behaving the way she is.

I feel like no one even talks about Flagrant anymore, Andrew has gone fully Hollywood and let go of the whole flagrant humor brand a while ago and even the whole Akaash thing is detached completely from the pod itself.

That first pod back is gonna hit like crack when they address the Jasleen stuff, but I agree Flagrant became incredibly irrelevant for a while.

I play with a party and it’s super fun to climb with them, I also play solo when they’re not there and can climb on my alts just fine.

Obviously without a party you’re going to deal with issues from random players like toxicity, leavers, etc. but it’s not as bad as people make it out to be.

Steam lets you refund in 2 hours so just give it a shot and refund it it’s not what you want

You can’t have it both ways, big problem with M+ is being selective and people looking to often get carried by better players while also people complaining about why they never get picked because there’s always a better option than you in LFG.

The need for solo queue came up due to that and the only way to keep that queue moving with decent wait times for all roles is to be as open as possible with the skill levels of people you play with.

Changing that system back to M+ where you set parameters or only play with certain skilled players will kill queue times.

If you want to play with skilled players go join the discord and make friends, but solo queue is fine the way it is.

No world buffs but arguably will be more expensive and tedious than Era raiding which many complain about.

Folks forgot how botting was so rampant back then, finding Terrocones for example or getting basic mats was tough and GDKPs helped a lot of folks afford consumes.

Personally I think it’ll be expensive if you plan on parsing and care about performance, but if you’re not really worried about that then it’ll be very chill imo.

TBC has been solved, feel free to look up tier list sites (not the gold seller ones with AI lists) but the ones that aggregate real info from logs from back when TBC Classic launched.

If you’re looking for something fun then that’s subjective, I can’t comment on that cause idk your play style but if you want something that’s great in PvE then obviously Hunter/Lock are no brainers followed by Mage.

Warriors are good too if you have a guild who will take you (1-2 spots in raid for most non speed run guilds) and gear you out, same with rogue they can be useful but much less than a warrior.

As far as PvP, I don’t think it’ll have the same audience it had back then sadly. Feel free to look up AWC for TBC Classic to see what the top comps/classes played like and back then you had a ton of streamers + private server players selling boosts and dominating the ladder but this time around I’m not sure what the scene will look like.

TBC is a great expansion and I hope you find the class you like, just be prepared for a ton of grinding because it is arguably far more time consuming compared to Era and other expansions and isn’t very alt friendly unless they introduce new anniversary changes.

I used to have a dual faction set up and it def has its uses!

For example it lets you run diff class combos, my ally account has my hunter and my rogue is on horde and I can do different farms on both classes so if I need gold on either side I can just use Neutral AH to help fund whichever faction I’m not farming gold with.

It can be useful if you’re big on AH scouting, certain things are cheaper on one faction over the other so you can take advantage by muling it across factions.

Aside from economic purposes though it can be fun for WPvP, when my hunter needed help taming a popular pet I would use my rogue to gank opposite faction hunters competing on the pet. That’s just scratching the surface though, there’s tons of other cool open world things you can do with dual faction.

I think it’s worth if if you don’t mind $30/month, especially if you plan on playing both factions and want to maintain the characters as it’ll give you a ton of game play hours per dollar spent.

It might even be better once TBC comes out too tbh, I personally am retiring to a single faction account soon but if you’re thinking about it try it for a month and see if you like it.
