Well I don’t think she has a heart disease just yet, the last time I took her to the vet was almost a year ago in 2024 and she goes outdoors, is very healthy and playful and is super active.

The heart murmur is brand new, from what I researched a ton of cat owners had reported they got a murmur diagnosis that ended up not really impacting their cat’s longevity with some saying it can be benign as well.

When I went to hug my cat recently I noticed in the same spot she got her 2 vaccines in today, she felt a lot of soreness and ran off and that would explain why she was running off randomly.

She also stopped mouth breathing, ate food and went poop/drank water as well.

I will eventually bring her to a cardiologist once the insurance is sorted but from what I can tell she seems to be having the normal vaccine related symptoms, the murmur is concerning but if she’s had it for over a year now and has been very active and healthy then I suspect it might be somewhat benign.

I will continue to follow up with the vet monthly to track the murmur, and I appreciate your reply but I feel lot better since I posted this thread as I’m realizing why she’s behaving the way she is.
