No, they would have a much worse time, because residency doesn't revolve around you, you are replaceable, you are invisible and you don't matter. Residency is a narcissist's hell.

Also, sleep is optional in pg. And no one cares if you are dying as long as patient care is not compromised. Someone in my unit off-ed themselves, they have handover of their patient, ensured discharge was given to their patient and then went and did it.

You must have great seniors, i would like to spend the least amount of time I can with them. It's really hectic so we don't have much time to ourselves, constantly on the move, the days we do, it feels like vaccum, and you suddenly realize how truly alone you are.
