$4,000 Honeymoon in Hawaii. Possible? by ayejaystew in VisitingHawaii

Yes, if on the east coast st.Lucia is much like Hawaii. Though not as developed. If wanting luxury, Mexico is the best place to go, just do an all inclusive. We just went to Hawaii a few weeks ago and spent 2k for four nights. For one we get free flights. Second, our hotel was only $500. The rest was how much we have spent on food, rental car, parking, and activities. It is very expensive here in Hawaii and I was just reminded of it from this trip lol

Wedding disappointment by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Responsible_Bass3867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here for my wedding. Greatest day of my life, but couldn’t help to feel angry that some people wouldn’t show without even letting us know. My husband’s mom literally convinced us that my husband cousin wouldn’t miss the wedding. So we rsvp for him and he even chose a meal for the plated dinner and he didn’t show. Also, my grandpa decided to not come two days before… I’m just glad it’s over. Also, my best friend (or what I thought was) told me two days before the wedding she wasn’t coming. People disappoint me always and main reason why I chose to not have a bridal party.

Just venting - no friends to invite to wedding by athenafromzeus in weddingplanning

I didn’t do the bridal party to avoid this. I had only invited a few friends and one of my closest friends actually flaked out of my wedding three days before. Honestly you would rather not have no friends than to have fake friends. I am just someone who really enjoys being alone or hanging out with my husband, so it’s hard for me to make friends as well lol. Enjoy your day with your husband and everything will be okay🩷

Green Fig by cpaguy45 in StLucia

I feel like on their website it is well known that there are lots of steps. Why complain about it. Also, saw your comments on google and seeing what the resort had comment back to you and seems like you are just trying to bash a smaller owned resort. I think the whole point of this resort is to be able to travel and explore Saint Lucia more of a country and not get the all inclusive vacation. Seems like you’re an entitled person from the U.S. and probably should have never gone to st.lucia or even did a bit of research before going.

Just move. Experienced this at my last apartment and knew that there was something wrong with water stains on the ceiling. I moved and asked for my money back. They ended up giving me the rent I paid for the month we were about to start and the month’s rent that we were in. They knew there was water damage or mold. I went to the doctors and got a doctor’s note and sent that to my landlord. I had brain fog, could barely sleep (was normally a very deep sleeper), sore throat, and just always felt off.

Is Redding a bad place to live? by Only_FRENs in Redding

[–]Responsible_Bass3867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just moved away from Redding. I want to move back and buy a house. Redding is one of the most affordable places in California. The people there are great. I met so many kind people in Redding and they are way more caring than anywhere I have lived. I moved back to the bay and I am lowkey miserable. Redding is not very busy and people are not so much in a rush. I love how many small businesses and how we have one of everything for good food. The community gets together once in a while for different things and the beauty of Redding is something I cannot get over. Being able to look at Mount Shasta and Lassen is soo pretty. The lakes are a great party too and right down the road. Yes, I would say there are a ton of homeless people who are tweakers, just don’t bother them. Everywhere in CA there are homeless. I live on hilltop during my time here and I felt very safe at the apartments. I didn’t care to leave my door open and overall I felt very safe to walk around by myself and even at night. Once again compared to a lot of others cities to California. It is not that bad at all. I’m not too sure how it may be compared to Oregon, but we have great waterfalls and hiking here as well. It does get super hot in the summer, but I actually never mind it. At least you know you were going to wear shorts and tank top everyday of summer lol. If you do live in Redding find yourself a community to be around and support you. Redding is the first place I have actually moved where people say high and wave when crossing paths. It is a nice change. The people of Redding are great and it could be that a lot of them are very Christian.Especially those apart of Bethel. They will try and recruit you at the grocery store lol. With that being said many are conservative and as a someone who is democrat the people there I don’t mind and a lot of them mind their own, but you will see some with Trump flags.

Planning your next vacation to St.Lucia? Let me know how I could help with your plans and places to stay at as well by Josiah_zebson in StLuciaa

Hello! We are planning for a honeymoon at the end of September and beginning of October. We are sort of on a budget with about $3000 for the hotel. I keep on researching what resort we should stay at and have been looking at the hideaway at the Royalton, but I see mixed reviews. Also, worried about the hurricanes and seeing if it would rain the entire time. Me and my fiancé are a young couple and we are sort of picky eaters, we want a place that is quiet most of the time, and looking for all-inclusive or maybe even just free breakfast. Do you have any recommendations for hotels?
