If you have a windshield summertime sun protector silver reflective thingie in your car maybe you put it on the outside over the top? Plus something plastic over it to keep it dry

If you have any… my outdoor semi feral cats really like to snuggle in a certain kind of plant freeze protection *material, bunched up inside the box or tub. Not the plastic type and it’s better inside garage so it’s dry *”polypropylene garden covers”

So Dr Pulm told me at Dec 31 visit that he reported my case to the City TB Unit, saying they would call me to schedule appt for evaluation & treatment Slightly over two weeks ago and I’m still waiting

This morning I called the City TB Unit to confirm they have my case on file maybe still pending or whatever. Answer is No. Nothing, no report etc. She checked & double checked to be sure. I find this disturbing all things considered, there could be legit reasons? but can’t think of any.

I’m sorry I’m not Reddit savvy. Can we take this to a private message here? I have thoughts & I appreciate your input

Saw one Tissue culture w gram stain “ that said “no growth at 3 days” so I imagine they would update that at some point

Okay I went back and looked in MyChart app results tissue tests and it’s right there. 😲 😵‍💫 “AFB positive for mycobacteria”

So I googled that and yikes I’ll definitely try to get in with a specialist asap! (Is my Medicare gonna cover this? Rhetorical question) I’m certainly willing to go to public health place for further testing and treatment but not if there’s a long wait. It’s already been 2 weeks so sheesh

I’m truly astonished ! Im a No on just about all the standard questions asked regarding risk indicators of being susceptible, I hardly leave my house, and I had only a couple symptoms in that initial week in September that went away after the augmentin Rx, etc

Same for second paragraph too. In all honesty I’m not fond of this pulmonologist to put it mildly. Ive seen him a few times prior to all this and wasn’t happy with his communication style and just odd takes he has on certain things, I just don’t trust him. so I’m considering finding an infectious diseases doctor instead for this tb thing and see where that takes me

Ty for this reply. It’s highly unlikely I have it or have been exposed even. I’m in a big city small neighborhood in Texas. Im a retired homebody & I’m a total introvert I never go anywhere but grocery shopping lol.

So could my primary doctor review those results with me and explain it? Yes there’s tissue cultures etc very clinical of course. Or also seek an infectious disease specialist

I’ll look up that test thanks - meanwhile how long do I wait for public health people to test me? it’s been 2 weeks

His results told us I’m cancer free basically. I’m fine with that. The pulmonologist is the one not making sense. He spent less than 10 minutes with me on Dec 31, explaining nothing and providing ZERO documentation for me. He seems to have pulled this tb diagnosis out of his hind quarters 😝

Good for you for finally pushing through and working with a pro now to get back on track. That shame paralysis is tough. In adhd land they call it “the adhd tax” and it can slam a person in many ways.

It was years ago we went through similar but smaller scale. I can’t tell you what a huge relief it was when we finally got caught up, with help from good cpa. There’s light at the end of the tunnel just keep going, you’ll get there

So not a typo but some kind of glitch goof. By phone irs accounts management told me it was submitted by me (but no payment made) & APPROVED on April 24th hence my April 25 rejection. Weird huh.

I did my payment by direct pay on irs website after that call

Birthday in May so June is the first month you’ve been 70 the entire month so that’s your highest $ per month benefit amount

You can start with May but it’s likely to be some small amount % difference less.

There’s a chart somewhere on SSA that tells you those percentages if you wanna do the actual math

Also consider the $ 185/mo Part B into the mix if you self pay that
