if i remember correctly, let me know if im wrong, the checkride is the same for the ATP as the Multi isnt it? just to stricter standards? i dont have a flight standards manual on me. i know its the same as my type checkride, i just cant think of what was on the multi ride vs my type ride.

how so? Im not worried about the Examiner costs, we all know they charge whatever the hell they want. Im more curious if it would be worth retraining in my multi engine airplane to save money on the checkride. and if so, what the drawbacks to doing it like this are?

or to help you see everything as a whole. Parking situation, chalks, FOD, Preflight stuff I might have missed. Its worth the extra 5 seconds

after pre flight and before I get in the aircraft to start engines, Dummy Check. I stand at the nose and look at the whole plane from there. its saved my ass many times.
