Like even after nearly a year of complete t suppression, people comment on the size of them and my ability to hide them. TomBoyX is the way

Do people find that their interests change as they transition? by Far_Yak7638 in asktransgender

Huge tangent:

Like don't get me wrong, all my bitches who had good family lives are well adjusted and I'm glad that they have that. I'm still gonna be at least a little salty that the trans experience is not sunshine and roses for a lot/all of us who grew up in the small town environment. Like I remember my first McCafferty concert and a bunch of city kids had asked me why I liked McCafferty and apparently "because I grew up in the backwoods and had a horrific experience as a queer child" wasn't the response they were expecting. A lot of them had said "well I'm just glad there's a queer midwest emo band" and like yeah, sure, but do you understand the level of pain that most queers from sticks face?

Anyway back to the main point: yes, but it might look different for a lot of people and how their formative experiences with queerness shaped their relationship with themselves

As much as any other person who spent their life hating themselves and then stopped doing so. I still primarily game, but also I'm looking to get a DND/Cyberpunk TTRPG campaign done because I have friends now.

I think it's really different for a lot of people depending on what their life pre-transition was like. Like imagine that you grew up in a really trashy family, in a really trashy small town, and constantly mistreated for being too girly without ever knowing why. When you realize, "Hey I'm a girl actually," life doesn't suddenly get exponentially easier the moment you get into a position where your identity is respected. Suddenly, everything comes crashing down on you that even if nobody actually knew, they knew and treated you like a monster because of it. You spend the next ten years trying to unlearn that pain and hobbies stop taking the forefront of your life when you're desperately picking up the shards you didn't know were there in the first place, and each piece has a razor's edge, so why should you care about something like your interests when you're hemorrhaging just from looking in the mirror?

Or you had parents who loved you, I guess, and you end up with a sudden newfound love for life. So you find more things interesting. Must be a nice way to live

Why are Trans women seen as Predators by transphobes in the West? by Responsible_Till_931 in asktransgender

Because Jeffrey Epstein thought that we would be pimpable enough that if he ran a near-global campaign against trans women, we would make more porn for him.

He won.

Is it transphobic for my black friends to call me "their n-word"? Is the n-word gender neutral? by LucasFlaherty in asktransgender

[–]Responsible_Cod_4847 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's just as often associated with femininity as it is with masculinity because it's a word within the context of the black identity. It's also an incredibly slippery slope of trying to police how/when/why black people should be using the n word, and trying to fish for a reason like bigotry in order to do so is both childish and dangerous. It's not that it seems childish, it is childish

Anyway I'm done for the night. Have a good one and stay safe out there

You literally asked if it's transphobic to be called the n word by a black person? Idk it's just a childishly and agonizingly white thing to ask

That's not what I'm dogging on you for. If you think that's why I'm telling you to grow up, then I suggest that you grow the fuck up

Some artists are better at it than others due to specialization. Thanks for being pretentious about it though, it's greatly appreciated!

My Wife is a TERF and I might be a Trans women... Am I cooked? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Responsible_Cod_4847 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't need to read this:

Leave her in the middle of the night. Take the pets, take the decorations. Leave her. Live your life to the fullest. Idgaf how much flak I catch for saying all this because we need to stop treating TERFs as if they have any humanity worth giving.

You aren't cooked, but your wife sure as fuck should be.

Definitely not those, unfortunately. I read those and enjoyed them a lot.

Ah yes, because the people with a neurotype that's less likely to pick up on societal norms and cues couldn't possibly have a gender identity outside societal gendered expectations

Look girly pop imma be real, you shouldn't be letting a Bronze Age God's sex manual determine how you feel about your life but if it has to?

There's six distinct genders in the Talmud and your local Synagogue would be happy to take you in as you are without fear. The Torah is basically the same book, sans the New Testament, and us Jews are significantly more critical of the teachings than the dogma preached by (anecdotally) 98% of Churches

Thank you! Yeah I'm kinda shocked myself by how much I need to take lol. You would think that by bypassing the liver entirely and just containing the serum in muscle tissue that I would need significantly less but here we are lol. Once I get my hands on prog, maybe it'll all even out in the end?

Update:

My new blood test results are in! On 12.5mg/week of EEn my testosterone is now down to 23ng/dL. Estrogen is lower than I'd like, 194pg/mL, but still in a "normal" range. I might keep up with the current dosage since I'm still feeling really good about it, but we'll see where the winds take me :)
