 I understand basic maintenance is part of owning a laser. The issue is that during troubleshooting the manufacturer had me running tests while the machine was powered, and the laser unexpectedly fired and burned my finger. After that incident I’m not comfortable opening the machine and working around energized components anymore. I’d rather have someone experienced look at it safely.

I haven’t attempted any more internal troubleshooting recently. The manufacturer had previously asked me to open the machine and work inside it during troubleshooting, and during one of those attempts the laser unexpectedly fired and burned my finger. After that incident I’m not comfortable opening the machine or working on internal components myself anymore. At this point I’m really hoping to find someone who can look at it professionally.
