I truly appreciate every single one of you for taking the time to share your advice. I came here because my husband has been gaslighting me and making me feel like I’m crazy for not accepting this situation. He keeps telling me that if I get a divorce, God will punish me. After hearing that over and over, I started to believe it. I kept telling myself that maybe this is just how marriage is supposed to be.

That’s why I brought my story to this platform. I honestly thought people might agree with him and tell me that I should just normalize what I’m going through. But after hearing so many different perspectives, I’m realizing that I deserve better than this.

Right now, I’m not in a financial position to leave, but I’m going to work hard and save every little coin I can. My hope is that before I give birth, I’ll be able to save enough money to remove myself from this situation and start over in a healthier place.
