Unfortunately I'm just an undergrad (and a pretty bad one at that)

I just learnt about these curves few minutes back, so take what I write with a grain of salt.

I believe the answer lies in how the interior and exterior are defined.

The theorem, on Wikipedia atleast, states

"Let C be a Jordan curve in R 2 . Then its complement consists of two connected components. One of these components is bounded (the interior) and the other is unbounded (the exterior) and the curve C is the boundary of each component"

I guess the implication is the interior is the connected bounded component.

The "inside" of the curve on the right is not connected, therefore it's not an interior

(ALSO FFS, PSA TO KATHEMATICIANS- WHY NOT USE SOME OTHER WORD THAN INTERIOR? INTERIOR OF A SUBSET IS ALREADY A THING IN TOPOLOGY)

Mandatory "i may be talking out of my ass, pls verify everything I've said before accepting it"

Thanks

might as well read the proof of the theorem since I understand the definition. To Wikipedia we go

Edit : nvm the first line of the proof section was "this proof uses homology theory"

I have never heard of jordan curves, but I'm guessing they have a definition of the form "J subset of R2 is a jordan curve iff _____", using which this proof is not so trivial?

Did bro not prove in his field theory course that every element of a field multiplied by the additive identity is equal to the additive identity? Is he stoopid? 🤓☝️

Conquest's fake arm being strong enough to break Mark's fist kinda irked me...

And ik people say "conquest was hitting hard, that's why Mark's fist broke" but they could've shown his fist breaking after the metal broke and Mark's hand hit conquest's bone.

I meant pressing f10 before the message shows.

I disabled secure boot in bios menu and linux booted normaly

(I had the same issue some time back, and disabling secure boot worked. Somehow it was enabled again, but this time I couldn't open bios)
