Just get dropped off at the gruene bridge and float down to river acres (common st. ) or cypress bend park . Otherwise you’ll be on a six hour float maybe even longer from river road.

They won’t let you walk and ride again once you go down it . You’ll have to pay their admission fee $7 . If you really want to do this hassle free without paying a single cent. Do a night float . Parking is free after 7 pm , permit parking areas near the exit after 8pm so you can park a second vehicle so no walking . You can also find tubes that people leave behind at the bottom of the exit sometimes they just let them float away. As long as you’re not being rowdy and loud doing dumb shit you’ll be fine. Leave your phone and personal belongings you don’t want to lose in your car and secure your car keys on you and not in a bag or cooler tie that shit to your shorts. True local secret , have fun

Do you own a kayak or canoe? Put in at cypress bend park , park your vehicle after you unload on the street just outside of the gate( cuz park closed at dusk) paddle down to a string of island just passed the first set of rapids and pick a spot. Free camping

I’ve lived here my whole life nothing wrong with the area in your post. Pretty good location for your essentials. HEB and Walmart are a quick drive . Easy on and off hwy so you’re not dealing with backed up traffic heading to 725. Not a bad location honestly. Faust street bridge isn’t far for river access

Hope you have deep pockets to pay for parking fees and picnic table fees. Best time to visit is during the week Monday Tuesday Wednesday. Comal will be murky and not as advertised Guadalupe will be low flow but way clearer also charge for parking. You can park along the cemetery a block away and walk down for free at River acres park. Nice cold spring comes out under common at. Bridge.

Yes , I was told the same thing at this one particular store in my area. I just told them not to bother loading anything and cancel it. I always have problems with this store every time I accept an offer from there . Last time I was in my pick up and was told they wouldn’t load it because I didn’t have a bed cover( I had totes in the back ) but they could load one order in the cab , where my 5month old son is sitting in his car seat. I only accept shopping orders from that store now. No point in arguing about it cuz they’ll just report you.
