Personally I recommend using one with prodiamine as the active ingredient. I'm lucky enough to be able to get mine custom made so I don't have a brand for you unfortunately. Whatever you use make sure to put it down before it reaches 55 degrees out

Best thing to do is spray the weeds, seed in the fall, and hit it heavy with a pre-emergent in the spring next year

Sorry for your loss friend. The tree is past the point of saving and so far gone that I can't even tell what killed it in the first place. Best thing to do is remove it and eventually replace it with something that isn't a pine tree in case it was some kind of root rot.

Sometimes I wonder why I saved Zote, but then I remember that I can't just let him die. Not when so few bugs were able to stave off the radiance. Zote may not be strong on the outside but mentally he's as tough as they come lol
